Hello All. I wondered if anyone used Daz|Studio for a character posing reference guide? Here is a link of some examples I just quickly rendered out. The program is free and comes with some content.. I do think hand drawn or stylized miniatures look so much better than fully rendered 3D characters. But it is another option. Graeme.

One of the best posing reference I've found is PoseManiacs. Posemaniacs.comIt looks like they've used Daz/Poser models with a muscle-chart-style skin to make hundreds of poses, viewable from any angle. Great site. GM64

Today I re-installed Daz Studio (now in version 4.6). Turns out I had the Michael v4 and Victoria v4.2 in my Daz account, so I purchased their morph++ packs and some weapon packs on sale. The idea is to use them to build reference poses over which I can draw in Gimp. Here is my first test with this process:

Still looks like one may need more actual drawing talent than I have, but it certainly seems to work for you!
