Can anyone help me locate Dryw the Harper's set with the cat lady? I have a special use for her coming up soon. squirmydad, maybe you know where she is, I know I've seen her, but can't remember where, exactly.
I am the Lady, thy Dungeon Mistress! All will love and fear me! Muahahahahah!
I know I've got a number of these already cut out... elementals, giants, monks, swashbucklers, orientals, ships crew, townsfolk, zombie soldiers... If I don't see someone else post pics, I'll try to cobble something together this weekend.
Ok. Just to prove I'm trying... I sorted out all of my Imperfect standees, and then checked to see what doesn't have images on the website: Swashbucklers Ships Crew #2 Market Folk Orientals Giants Elementals
Wish I had better bases for them, but you get what you pay for. :-P

Well, when we moved a box of my paper minis got put into the wrong area. This area happened to be the outside shed and all of my Dryw greatness along with some other stuff got ruined by the humidity (not to mention a nasty leak in the roof.) Oh well, thats how it goes sometimes! I have since reprinted the 17 sets that are missing from the gallery and will send you pics of 2 or 3 sets at a time as I get them done.

Squirmydad, fear not! I will have some good pics to you soon. I had a Rheumatologist appt. this week and the new medicine for my hands and the pain pill are eating my lunch. The good news is that She said it shouldn't upset my stomach for more than a month or so! Anyway, I've gotten the first 4 sets done and ready for pics which I will take tomorrow morning and send to you.
Oh noo! This means that only the following sets don't have a picture; -desert_folk -drow_elves -halfling patrol -henchmen -night watchmen -nobles -northmen -raiders -townsfolk
Only 9 left! He. Could. Go. All. The. Way!
I know that you are out there building and playing with the Imperfect Peoples, and you even took pictures of a game in progress using them in a game, but you're afraid to post them. Fear not! There is a second gallery called Imperfects In Action! Your pics don't have to be perfect, they just have to be uploaded so I can add them to the Gallery of Galleries!

I'd never noticed any of these, until the other day. Now, I got all of them, and I love 'em all!
Some of them, though, looked a bit 'faded' to my taste, allthough the art is wonderful. So I threw one of them into Photoshop, and played a bit with levels and unsharp mask - and the result was pretty ok. Looks good on print, too:
Let me know if you want it. I'm probably going to make more, these are too cool!

Here they are! I've made one for each side of the Atlantic. The brightness is turned up, because my printer, like many others, tends to come out darker than it appears on screen. If your printer is more accurate, make sure to turn down the brightness before printing.
woosh: also, where can i find cool ships and mechs? im looking particularly for any spider tanks or spider mechs. ive seen the site with all the mechwarrior papercrafts and ive made a couple of those but none of them are especially spider-like

oldschooldm: Yup. More power to anyone who tries it. It will only whet the appetite for people who want paper minis that were designed to be paper minis. :-) Fronts and Backs FOREVER! :-) [... it's bait, don't bite it! ... ]

cowboyleland: Now I have seen it. It doesn't advance our hobby, but anyone with half a brain who wanted 2nd rate figures could easily figure this out for themselves so I guess he isn't doing any harm.

berneart76: well, this is fun, (not) transferring all my papercrafting sets into the cloud. The stuff I got from DriveTrhruRPG was simple with their library desktop app,but my other stuff, sometimes with multiple duplicate copies is entertaining.

berneart76: Vermin King I usually use a mix of drybrush/watercolor/photocopy and occasionally posterizing at different levels of opacity.
Feb 26, 2019 20:46:54 GMT -9
berneart76: Vermin King, that's similar to the enhancing that I do on my texturing. I've found that sometimes I need to scale up or scale down the image (usually by 50 or 25 percent down or 200 or 300 percent up) to make get the enhancements to look "right"
Feb 26, 2019 20:44:53 GMT -9
Vermin King: On the zebras, I did multiple enhancements and cartoon filters and used them at 100%, and they still didn't look that different than the photos
Feb 26, 2019 12:27:26 GMT -9
Vermin King: When I make a figure or terrain piece based on a photo, I clean it up and align things to look 'right', then I create another layer and do enhancing and cartoonizing on it. I then adjust opacity over the photo image until it looks good. On the zebras,

Vermin King: berneart76, do you mean giving them green or purple manes and tails? and a few piercings? maybe a cig hanging out of their mouths?
