The Free Frontier was chock full of Pirates, Highwaymen and genuine ne'er do wells so when the Core of Humanity decided to sweep over the world they thought taking the frontier would be the easiest part. It was only to late they discovered the men and women of the frontier had banded together in a loosely based resistance intent on stopping the Core at all costs. Most of the Frontiersmen are reckless at the best of times but the gunslingers are downright crazy. Like any true adrenalin junkie they are found at the forefront of any battle flinging bullets with an almost sadistic pleasure. To a gunslinger there is no such thing as a suicide mission only an opportunity to have some fun. In Temporum Oblitus right now ( the rules haven't been finalized yet ) the Gunslingers don't have to stay together as a unit, they can shoot two different targets at the same time and for one turn in the game they can shrug off any small arms fire. some of you may notice the redhead with the top hat as the fairy ninja pirate cyborg ... LOL I couldn't resist adding her in.

I really like the style of these characters, but I had to laugh when I saw the third one in. I just read through the blog escher girls last night, and that pose is highlighted in quite a few of the posts =) The color scheme on some of the accents reminds me of the main X-men colors, which also uses that pose quite a bit. Oh yeah, as well as the Hawkeye Initiative. They throw the dudes into the poses that women usually get in comics to highlight the oddness of that pose. Again, I really like the style you have going with the minis, but now that I've had that pointed out to me, it's hard not to notice

well I'm an old comic book guy from way back so the fact that most or all of my ladies have their cloths on and don't have gravity defying breasts means that I'm growing as a person LOL I tried to draw them in poses that were mid action. again old comic book artist sooo ya there you have it LOL the color scheme of the Free Frontier is blue and gold/yellow, it's actually a Japanese royalty thing though I don't remember where I remember that from. Temporum Oblitus comes from one of my comics that I am working on simultaneously as this game... the story is that the Core of Humanity went to a central location in the frontier and placed a large yellow sign with the notification of their pardon and terms of their surrender and occupation. In the night someone Painted in royal blue two capital letter F's into the sign indicating the Free Frontier and that they would never surrender. After that the colors yellow and Blue were adopted by everyone resisting the Core and eventually became the colors of the militia. soooo that's why they all ware those colors. I did love the x-men but I think that those colors were either before or after my time.
