The theme for this months HOARD is Cinema Heroes and Villains This can be any sort of miniature on the above theme or feel free to submit miniatures off theme. If you submit a figure, they must include both front and rear art, have a proper trimming outline, and include instructions for multi-part models. Recolors and figure mods are encouraged, and even uncolored designs are welcome. No nudity or sexuality, but bloody gory and horrifying is encouraged. If you have questions about how to design your figures, like formats, resolution, and stuff like that, see the HOARD GUIDELINES in this forum category. Entries for the Hoard will be accepted until the last day of February, 2014.

Centauri, Alex and Grig. If you 'Print View' on Thunderchild's Star Car it is about the right scale already

I am going to suggest Big Trouble in Little China! (What can I say, it is one of my guilty pleasure movies): First installment, Lo Pan! I am still in the process of shading and tweaking but he came together well enough that I thought I would show him and ask for input. If I can finish him early who should I do next? Egg Shen, The Three Storms (basket headed guys), or Jack Burton?

I second the three storms motion.

Just hinting again

So I have a couple of questions for those interested... How tall (in scale) should Lo-pan be given that he is a "10 foot tall road block" and how much lightning is too much to put on the model of Lightning? Test builds of Lo pan at a few different sizes and my early attempts at a lightning effect on Lightning: Dropbox for full quality: dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/67457759/lopan_andStorms_test007%20copy.jpg

I like Storm without the pillar of lightning beside him. As for Lo-pan, I think "10' tall" is Jack Burton exaggerating. Even if he is especially tall (SO temped to put in the DVD . . . No, things to do today) he never appears "large" I mean his shoulders don't get wide in proportion to his height. I would maybe stretch him below the waist a bit but mostly I would leave him on the normal side.

In the movie (just going by memory) Lo Pan was tall, but he wasn't ten feet tall. #1 or #2 should be fine. I think you have just enough lightning effect

How about a mounted Wraith to pursue halflings or command undead armies?

That works. But I hope someone with more skill than I can jump on some of those hints above ... hint, hint

DroogsFrom MMiP Showcase #34 by Grendelsmother64. kane - It's a basic charger, like the elven cavalry rides, with the harness from the undead cavalry overlaid.

Well, I was supposed to go winter cabin camping with the cub scouts this weekend but since I am fighting some bug I am on the couch instead. The cub's loss (at least I like to think) is VK's gain. I'm not sure if there might be copyright issues putting this in the hoard, but thought I would post it here first anyway. madmax by cowboyleland, on Flickr

Here is my contribution to the hoard. I was planning to add it to the March hoard but I finished it early! Heβs not really movie related, but maybe he could be an extra ^^
