I noticed that not many people check out the gallery forums but I figured I would toss in some work for the three troop choices in the source ... and here they are The source has no need to name their units the names they have are given to them by the people who fight them so they are named after a trait or ability. the basic infantry unit of the source is the crawlers it's a close combat specialist and can spawns smaller units called Hoppers. the Hoppers can pin units down until the crawlers get to them. The source basic ranged unit is the Wraith, so named because it's carapace can bend light creating a blurred shifting image effect and any unit trying to shoot at them has to take a full turn just targeting them! then there is the brute. It's a slow moving heavy version of the wraith gun and is so named because it can take a beating and hand one back. good at range and equally good in close combat the only hope you have against it is to be faster and smarter. or have a vehicle or cannon ... those help to ... so there it is ... with the excetion of the skiff , the Rhino and the Titan ( those are the Source vehicles ... of sorts ) that's the source army ... I have actully built the brutes and wriaths and should have some pics of the builds in a little bit ... soooo what do you guys think ?

Thought process behind them is good. Artwork is excellent. But I'm not sure how this will translate to card.

They do look cool. I would try edging them with black.

yep I do it all with a pair of scissors from the dollar store. I print all my stuff on my 30$ wall-mart 1055 HP using card stock from the grocery store. I use and exacto knife I got for a dollar on a different Isle at the same grocery store and I don't know where I got the tweesers from but I've had them a while now... so here's a quick look at my entire set up ! these picks were taken with my phone just before I posted this. I took a few seconds to label some of my more important things LOL but what you see is what you get...

Thanks for sharing your pics. In order to fatten your wallet and save the environment; might I suggest less bottled water and more glasses from the tap?

Thanks for sharing your pics. In order to fatten your wallet and save the environment; might I suggest less bottled water and more glasses from the tap? Those aren't water bottles ! they are clear shields for power generators ( pre fab ) .... also the tap comes out near solid around her to much lime stone ... I tastes... gritty. I think were to close to the boarder ... bottle water is definitely safer Thanks onemonkeybeau Hopefully you will be just as impressed with the rest of T.O. so that you and your kids play it for years to come!

I asked you about the method of cutting out because I used to cut out this way. What if when the element of figurine is horribly thin? How it cut?

I think it all comes down to design. If you look at the models carefully you will see that if a part has to be really thin then it's buried in the middle of the model. or like their arms and legs I use hoses and what not to thicken the actual part so it can still look thin and spidery only it's actually quite durable.... but sometimes there's just some parts that require I careful touch ... like their wrists are a little tougher because there is one spot where its just not very big and one wrong snip ... but even if you do cut it wrong you can always fix it with a scrap of paper as a brace.

Thanks colonelshofer you can check out more of my stuff on my Deviant art page amadeushopkins.deviantart.com/ and you can see a real time battle report on my soon to be defunct web page www.pigmiart.com/ the reason I say defunct is because eventually when I have enough content I'm going to create a Temporum Oblitus website .... but until then enjoy!
