Can you guess what this small stack makes when unfolded? My latest fold-flat kitbash! Four(count them, four!) of Dave Graffam's Rustic Cabins 1 & 2 - currently available DIRT CHEAP on rpgnow. But wait! There's more.... Yes! They have playable interiors! ... with floors kitbashed drawn from The Cabin... Here's the 3 pieces - the interior walls are NOT glued in place, but held in by the matt-board backed floor when inserted. (Click through on any of the photos to see more interiors.) Rather than score the folds, I used a bone folder so I would get a smooth fold and not have to do any edging, since the lines were an optional layer (Yay! Thanks for that Dave!) Though these take much longer to build, I really love them. They are very sturdy and now my NPCs can live in them. Basic construction techniques: I USED THE PSD VERSIONs of the files (also for sale) to make these versions. I was turning on/off layers in Photoshop, not Acrobat. I customized outside wall and cut off the "peaks" to make the roof part. Then made an inside-wall version of the options, vertically inverting and placing it above the outside wall (look at the last photo above). Cut the inside wall folds, making four big wall flaps. Glue only to form the box, the roof gutter, and the roof sides. Cropped, scaled, stretched the floor from The Cabin to be 2"x 2.75", printed on sticker paper, stuck to matte board and hand cut. To assemble: Fold interior wall-flaps inside, and place floor inside. Put any furniture and figures inside. Unfold roof and set in place!

Instructions were not clear enough, and now my left ear is stuck in my car radiator Seriously, i know it's my fault, but i don't get exactly HOW it folds/unfolds. An image of a "partially" folded one (to get what pieces are glued and where, and what are free) could help.... pleeease?

Pretty nice. Last week, I made a few middle-eastern buildings from scratch that are foldable, although none have interiors. For me, it's easier to just lift the whole building and set it aside and have a floorplan lying under it. With smaller structures it is very had to reach into them to move figures Well done, I say!

Ahh, got it. Sort of carboard shipping box, but the "flaps" are the internal walls. Thanks.

Parduz, try this: Impressive! I love this community! Thanks imnnttAnother small note. The triangular roof walls are extended a bit to overlap the exterior walls when unfolded. Look closely above the front door in this photo:
