I'm currently working on some RPG Heroes sets and kinda get stuck on naming/tittle issues. Set #1 ------- - Necromancers (first choice name for both characters and whole set tittle) - or perhaps Necrocasters (as all these figurines are some kind of mages and/or casters)? BTW there will be not only greyish and greenish (Orkish?) versions but also human characters (so not only skin tone but also no more Orkish long ears) in the set. + a lot of additional effects (spells, fireballs, levitating stones, skulls or even corpses -not sure though, might be too drastic?!) and some accessories (wands, spell scrolls and books etc.) Set #2 ------- - Reptilions- or perhaps Snake Lords or Snake Warriors? I'd like to build whole set based on this idea/figurine - so warriors with shields and swords, warriors with lances, casters, banner bearers etc. So I'd appreciate any comments or further ideas regarding naming / tittles (or any other requests or suggestions)

I like "Reptilions" better as a title than "Snake Lords." For the first set I think both ideas work.

In the first set, if the band around their throats was a silver metal, then perhaps one could run an adventure where those things were the key to solving a riddle. The players would be searching for the "neck chrome answers".
*ba da bum* Thank you and good night!

Necrocasters is a more original title, but I would probably go with the more traditional necromancers myself...
Reptilions is cool though - once you get used to the different spelling

If you're trying to make a generic name for an evil spellcaster, you could mix and match and see what you like:
(evil, dark, black, vile ...) (enchanter, conjurer, thaumaturge, wizard, spellcaster, elementalist)
Just some thoughts.
I was trying to think of some Reptilian Gladiators type name... Maybe you could go with 'Reptilian Guard' and later have reptilian spellcasters, priests, etc.

I'm a fan of 'Serpent Lords' myself. My one suggestion for reptile/snake - humanoids, is they are more appealing to me with lizard feet. It doesn't look as interesting when I see minis that have a snake head and tail, and then...boots. They just look wrong to me.

Since Squirmydad has opened up the digit question; I was going to mention that the five fingers in the Reptilion sketch look a little out of place. I read a newspaper story when I was a kid about a Canadian paleontologist who did a thought experiment about how a large brained dinosaur might have evolved into a humanoid. It only had three fingers and a thumb. I will see if I can find some images.
Edit: actually, it had two fingers and a thumb. Google "Dinosauroid" if you are looking for inspiration.
