In every army there are those who rise above the common. these people are a source of inspiration to their army they are a part of and can bring fear to the Armies that oppose them. Heros are the leaders of an army you can only bring one for every x number of points. they give your entire army a global bonus however they also have some restrictions. For instance Mad Myrtle gives all units in a Free Frontier army the "with my last breath" rule however her liability is that no unit can break off combat with an engaged unit until they are completely wiped out. On top of that Myrtle has hero stats and special weapons. If any Hero is removed from the game they are considered Incapacitated as true heroes never die. but your army loses all the bonuses that come from that hero. here is an example of some of the Hero units you can take to lead your army!
