Hi all. Just wanted to note all Cardboard Ladies and Gentlemen I've just put my latest set on wargames-vault. A set of ancient-to-XIX century Meadow Fences and Walls. This is something I've started working on just after releasing the Concrete Barriers and it was intended to play similar role for fantasy and medieval settings. What came up however is much more versatile. You can use it for what it is - simple fences and walls, but you can also use it as construction components for many many other terrain features. You can expect some inspirations on my blog soon, as I made a ton of test prints designing it, and I have to do something about them . Anyway the set is up for grabs from www.wargamevault.com/product/128116/Meadow-Fences-and-WallsP.S. For those curious what next I hereby announce that " the horse" project is officially reactivated, and I'm also working on another set of concrete.

Just in case anyone's wondering (I was, but I bought the set anyway!), there are printout pages to let you make the stakes as well - though as the instructions tell you, you can always use wooden cocktail sticks, bamboo skewers or twigs instead, or as well (the cocktail stick or bamboo skewer will give the ideal lighter "cut log" look, which you can wrap round with the bark textured "stake" printouts!). Simple idea, but beautifully executed, and with many uses beyond "just" keeping the animals in, or out of the crop fields - those turf walls could be stacks of cut peat waiting to go onto the winter fire, for example, while the wattle fences could become the walls for a partly constructed Iron Age round house, waiting to be "daubed". And doesn't everyone need stakes to tie those sacrificial victims to before the heroes arrive in the nick of time?

Another great product. Thanks Architect. OT: Is there the hope to see your steampunk lady shared in the future? Even in a nice ( commercial ) set with other characters it should be just fine.

OT: Is there the hope to see your steampunk lady shared in the future? I'm working on it. Actually Aspasia already have some friends, when their number reach the meaning of the term "set" , I intend to publish them. I just need to finish some older projects first.

Built the wicker fence. Absolutely love it! Looks even better in person than in these shots... Used round toothpicks cut to a little over 1/2" and inked with a Tombow pen (shown).
