Well, recently I had a situation where I needed to create some prison cells for my heroes to rescue some townsfolk who were due to be sacrificed. I wasn't sure how I was going to pull it off, until I found the user adaptation of prison cell doors for EZ Dungeons (a set I am drooling over, but don't yet own). So, after trimming here and there and some judicious use of glue and tape, this is what I came up with: A row of seven 5'x10' cells (game scale). Here is a 10x10 holding cell controlled by a winch that lifts the cell off the ground. The parties pet disgruntled zombie, Billy Ray Bob (the party named him as he couldn't remember his own name, having been a zombie for too long), is guarding the rear...sort of, while the rest of the party tries to stop the sacrifice. And after all that, they discovered a secret room behind the throne with 3 treasure chests in it! But just when you think it is safe to go back in the water...da-dum, da-dum, da-dum...one of the chests turns out to be a mimic! Aaaaach! They made out alive, a little worse for wear, but alive! I'll have to try harder next time. BTW: Any one interested in these prison doors, they are available at Fat Dragon Games in their free stuff section.

Oh, those toothpick tripods are great! Very much add to the cultist lair feel of the thing somehow. I like the flames on the altar as well. Nice builds all around.

He was the "Belle of the Ball", being the second tank the party so badly needed. The tooth pick tripods are weapons racks. They held some interesting goodies for the party. Wish I could have found some of those plastic swords you sometimes see in bars. Alas, I don't drink, so I couldn't find any. The flames I added the tops of q-tips dipped in yellow paint and while still wet, I used a sewing pin to tease out fibers to look like flames. Then while they dried, I colored the flames from the kit (remember I have to print in B&W most of the time). Once the q-tips were ready, I dipped the bottoms in glue and formed the paper flames up around the q-tip flames. Works out rather nicely, I think. It was a fun build and made for a very fun game!
