Just trow my money for the lunch in your pocket, Dave. Only a set for every line (except snowball wars and cowboys/indians related), just to "taste" it.

Part of this sale is to get ready for the release of smaller 99 cent sets that fill in genre gaps quickly. In some cases I have some cool ideas, but not enough for a whole set. That's where the Mini Playsets will come in.

At first I was relieved that there are so few products that I didn't already had. Them i remembered that it was because I bought them on their release, at full price.
Bah, whatever! They where worth every penny.

Thanks Hackbarth! I really appreciate the support I've received over the past few years. Like I said, I don't usually have sales and I'll probably not do another one like this in a very long time. I'm just excited to launch the next stage in my release schedule and get more people involved with paper minis.

Well I already had all the Darkfast ones, but have picked up the Axes & Anvils and Beasts and Barbarians packs... As well as the Vikings.... And a couple of Retro Space sets - despite the fact that I only ever play fantasy!!! I'm a sucker for a good sale, me! Plus the mini-sets sound like a great idea David - the more releases the better. I would happily run a campaign with solely your minis!!! So.... Does this mean the manticore is on its way....?

Quick Q. on the Beasts and Barbarians set. I've got it, and from what I remember, it was driving me nuts because every layer was turned ON by default, and to make anything, I had to de-select a TON of layers. Is that the case with any other set? Is there any chance you could re-release the set with only ONE set of layers on? It was one of the layered PDFs that made me dislike layered PDFs at all.
But, I love all the figures buried in it! I want to challenge myself to make configurable cutfiles for all the possible figures!

There is a one layer only page for B&B that I made in the package. Yeah, it's kind of the nature of the beast that more options creates more work for me and for the user, but it's kind of cool to have options. I am going to be putting out low cost smaller sets with less options. They should be a quick and easy way for me to get smaller sets out faster.

I love the options - don't get me wrong. I think I didn't state what I was hoping for clearly enough. I just want the DEFAULT STATE of the pdf to NOT be having EVERY layer on. When I open the PDF, I'd like to have ONE set of layers on, and the rest OFF. It will load faster, it will make selecting other combinations of layers easier, and it will make me not cringe so much when people talk about making multi-layer PDFs...
So, I was really asking if you could re-release that massive multi-layer beast on OBS after turning off all but one of each of the groups of layers? I might just go ahead and do it for myself the hard way - export each layer as a separate PNG then rebuild the PDF from those.
The other thing I recall from some of your sets was that they were hard to make good cutfiles for, because the front and back just didn't line up well enough for it. My basic process for making cutfiles is to make cutlines for the front (or back) then copy and flip the cutlines. What happens when the front and back don't line up great is I might find I'm cutting off some details on one side, and it's a tedious process to adjust and repeat. Oh, I'm just whining now, I know. But I love the art, and hate that I hold back from actually using them because these little things just get in the way, and there are a LOT of things to get around to cutting, so these little things are enough to backburner stuff forever.
Sorry to go off-topic!

IMO the quality of your minis is not only the perfect stance and execution of the figs. Its also the hidden (and sometimes open) humor which one can find inside them. And of course I absolutely love your easter eggs. Alone because of the easter eggs and the LOLs I have every time after looking at them, I bought your whole retro SF line. Please go on (and on, and on) with your great work.
