That is superb. We started our new campaign on Wednesday. Love the mini style. We've just started some mordheim specific scenery with walkways and lots of flat roof areas.

The barns etc are dave graffam, minis are okum and dryw. The big house is mine with floorboard texture from one of Dave's models. It's got external walkways to make the roof playable and different roofs which are interchangeable. Trying to bridge the gap between interesting looking scenery and spaces that are actually playable. This is all 15mm too. Soon to be plagued by undead

I will check with Pontus to see if he can give you a better description, but basically he does the lines, color and shading on separate layers. The shadows and highlights are painted in monochrome, and I think he uses a "smudge painting" technique to give that smooth look you see in the necromancer and vampire. Ryan

And are you using the original rules or the fan-updated ones? Soon to be plagued by undead If you use them, please show me! I love seeing our stuff in action ^^ Looks amazing! BTW is there a pic for the vampire and dreg? Thanks! Here is an old test photo I did where you can see the dreg and Vampire Lord. Brilliant minis, - scary yes, - but brilliant all the same. They are awesome. They really are, up their with labrat, darkmook and okum.
The building in the photo is just card, each wall is double sided so it doubles up. Strength is in the bracing... There's a small triangle of foam core glued inside at each point where an internal floor rests. So the floors are removeable. Working in 15mm makes everything sturdier though!
Currently have pit fighters, dragon monks, marienburg, Norse and outlaws in the campaign .
Your undead will feature strongly in this years Halloween special. They are superb.

<snip> Here is a preview of all the minis in the set. Ryan Beautiful, Ryan. A closeup like this really highlights how well the level of detail - esp. on the vampires' faces - will translate to the tabletop. You've got a great stable of artists! Now if you could only get those other wonderful products back up, esp. the Monsters set which I've previously recommended to several people, then you'd be set. IIRC you said you wanted to improve them a bit. Don't delay, better to put the best of them back up and not lose the heat of this release! They can always be upgraded & updated later...

You beat me to it! Thanks for the compliments! Yeah we want to put out higher quality products. For the old monster set I want to redo the borders and layout and create cutfiles. We also plan to add a few miniatures to the set. When we re-release it, whoever purchased it before will get the updated version for free. The problem with our old bard set was that the images were too low resolution. I think I might be able to improve the quality though. For the other sets drawn by me, we will probably re-release them as free downloads for members of our website. My drawing skills are still not as good as Gaston's or Pontus' so I'm going to focus more on improving our website from now on. Like the ghostly white background too - but isn't one of those vampires casting a shadow? Haven't you seen Nosferatu?

wyvern They don't cast reflections - I don't recall reading that they didn't cast shadows generally. And Brave Adventures - Nosferatu was terrific, was very happy to see him included in the Undead set. Does White Wolf's Vampire the Masquerade RPG include the nosferatu clan? I only ever watched the TV show - Kindred: The Embraced...

I've heard the "no shadows" thing, even seen it used in some movies, but Nosferatu's shadowy fist on the heroines heart was a great effect!

wow great set the art is fantastic! I cant wait for JULY that beast man looks OMG AWESOME!!!
Vampires can move in shadow and cast them where they want. they don't always cast a shadow as to alert potential victims but they can cast a shadow to get a way quickly especially if Van Helsing showed up.

Hopefully you will also make some standard warbands like Reiklanders, Marienburgers, or Skaven Yes, we are planning to do Mercenaries (Marienburgers), Northerners (Reiklanders, and Ratmen (skaven). After the Beastmen, our next sets will probably be Mercenaries in August and Witch Hunters in September.
