you are defiantly off to a really great start I love your poses and you have a very distinctive style that's kind of quirky but it works for you!

Thank you both very much, I'm glad you're enjoying the figures WackyAnne, i looked up some examples of pathfinder oracles, what changes would need to be made to turn her into one? (besides losing the submachine gun... unless of course she's multiclassing as an extremely advanced gunslinger) as an update, the third metro, and first of two heavy machine gunners i'm not sold on the handle in his off-hand, i was imagining it as some sort of quick release brace so that the gun could be hip fired if need be... at least from a drawing standpoint, there's no setup or take-down in the game, so technically any HMG shots are firing from the hip, which is TOTALLY plausible lol

Thank you! I've been good, graduated university last month and began working full time a few months ago and that's taken all of my free time (and explains my disappearance) I'm hoping as things start to slow down and normalize I can get back to working on my own projects, my wonderful fiancee bought me a drawing tablet for our anniversary, which has been a learning curve to get the hang of... the mouslings being my first project to finish with it I'm still probably not going to be able to draw and post as regularly as I like, but I'm hoping to start tackling that project checklist I made for myself someday soon... or at least finish that darn infinity set, given that the new rules are finally out lol

I've been experimenting with art styles lately, and I'm beginning to discover a little more what speaks to me, specifically minimalism and the work of Genndy Tartakovsky (samurai jack, dexters lab, star wars clone wars). when i think about it, growing up with these shows + seven years of architecture school, i really didn't stand a chance. anyway, here's a take on one of my older models from the way out west set, along with a few studies I did to start learning

here's a quick group shot from the first set, redrawn let me know what you think Great stuff here. I liked the first series you did a lot and I think these are a nice spin on them. For 28mm-30mm table figures the minimalism is kind of necessary anyway, so the style really clicks in my opinion. Will you re-release the backs of the previous figs in the same style? Also, any chance that you will do any more Samurai Jack (Or Clone Wars)? It may be wishful thinking but that would be awesome!

As far as samurai jack minis and clone wars minis, short answer is yes, they will start to pop up the more studies I do. long answer: I've got piles of drawings and art that I've pulled from various sources to keep learning the styles, all the way back to the original pink panther cartoons... as I do the studies and make figures, I'll make them available in the fan art section of the forums, since they will have been completely drawn by me, but they will not be original works... I will essentially be converting the works and characters of others into figures as i go forward learning.

Here's a quick sketch render of what i'm thinking for the modular building units, the goal being they can be set up flat for single level buildings, upright for towers, and stacked for multi story. I will be doing multiple unit sizes to get variation. let me know what you think!

This kind of geometry fit very well in an "Infinity-like" setting. It was investigated by other companies/publishers, in a diveristy of materials and variations: lasercut MDF (Sarissa precision) Lasercut Mdf + plastic (Warsenal) Cardboard (Pwork) Two thumbs up for modularity and the flat/upright combination . Your work promises to surpass Pwork good ones toward something like Warsenal stuff, without costing an arm (b.t.w that one is about 200$)

I can't help but picture a hexagonal tube to transfer from one unit to another. I can also picture steps in the same style as the connecting walkway. Should work out well

I can't help but picture a hexagonal tube to transfer from one unit to another. I can also picture steps in the same style as the connecting walkway. Should work out well I think you're on to something there... I already have the equilateral tubes cut out and ready to mock up, so I took that and did a quick model of the tubes with coped ends to connect the modules from the sides, should do nicely, and give variable length skywalks as well as the bridge elements. I'm going to need to do some work on the stairs
