Looks to be some fuss about distributing .studio files other than via the silhouette store. After a bit googling seems the best way around it is inkscape and making a .DXF which opens in studio and can be used to cut. Really like the trace in studio so been experimenting with using the studio to trace, then screen dumping it into inkscape and vectoring around the trace and saving it as DXF. Makes for a pretty lame workflow though, how do you guys distribute your cutfiles.
Option 2 was to save the .studio file then manually change the .studio to .dxf, of course it only works in studio but is technically a dxf =).

I believe the agreement is designed to keep people from competing with the online store they have for cutfiles. I really don't believe they have a problem with people distributing cutfiles for free along with print-and-cut material, as long as it's something of your own creation. No selling their cutfiles, no setting up a store to sell cutfiles, no selling stuff that uses property you don't have the right to distribute. This topic has been beaten, hopefully to death, on another thread around here. I can try to track it down later today if you can't find it.

Found one of the threads: cutfile creation workflow recommendationsScroll down a ways and you'll find where the topic veers into the "are you really allowed to do this?" territory. I know long before this thread, there was even more discussions. Hope this eases your mind a little.

The pattern here: [Original bitmaps with registration marks and bundled .studio files] is 100% fine. You own the rights to your own works no matter what tools are used to create it.

Ditto. I am still using an older cutting mat until I can de-sticky the Cameo mat. It's insane how sticky they are. On the plus side, after a long stretch of use, they won't be sticky at all. Scrubbing it with warm water and dish soap will bring it back to life!
