ha ha Goblin archers!!!! you never thought you would have to worry about goblins with fire power now did you!! well you still don't really after all I can picture a group of elves sitting by a late night camp fire and a squad of goblins lets loos a volly on them. after it's over one elf looks at the others and says my the mosquitoes are bad this evening ... oh wait no it's just goblins. well it's a good thing I brought the Splinterwoods goblin off spray. LOL I LOVE my gobos !! I hope you do to!! oh ya the squad leader with the bent rusty sword is facing the wrong way .... but what are you going to do he's a goblin! probably beating the guy be hind him saying "no! no! no's! stupids da arra goes da ada ways!!!" though I did think it was cool that I made one of them holding the bow all gangsta style .... he's a gobo from da hood! or was it with a hood I can't remember ... oh well.

All the Gobbos are good but my favorites are the bright greens.

Because I like Goblins too despite being a dyed in the wool Elf player I was wondering whether a set of traditional adventurer minis, but in Goblin form might be fun. They could do service as character figures too, but somehow I'm finding the thought of dungeon crawling with a bunch of weedy Goblins really amusing this afternoon.

one of the hardest situations to negotiate in HeroQuest is the long narrow hall and a goblin with a bow at the end. surprisingly you can take a crud ton of damage if you roll badly on the d6 for movement. I've run games where the heroes foolishly try and charge down on the gobo who was two of the board lengths away... needless to say his friends abandoned him to his meaty fate! then they had to resurrect him at the apothecary after the mission hocking almost all the loot they picked up along the way. all because of a gobo, and a really bad decision. when they encountered that again in a much later mission the wizard fire-balled him to the face ... gobo by by.

It's from when I moved house Aaron. I was lucky enough to find a whole pile of incomplete sets and expansions for sale at a cheap price some time ago. From all the bits I was able to build up a complete set and the expansions plus a lot of spares left over. I consider myself extremely fortunate to own the game as these days it seems folk are asking collector type prices for any old tatty box load of bits,
