these days I'm in my rest period (so I'm in my periodic "search and find" campaign for paper minis ) and I'm sorry if bother too much you. Skirmish Tactics Apocalypse is ( by " Print & Play News" site ) a two player skirmish-level tabletop game set in a post-apocalyptic near future. There are two ways to play STA: skirmishes and conquests. Skirmishes are standalone games played for a single victory, with no lasting repercussions. Conquests are a series of skirmishes. In conquests, players begin with a squad of recruit characters. You can also find more information on STA BGG page. In STA downloads' page you can find the updated Rulebook, the Conquest Sheets, the Faction Packs, the Gamescape Packs ( missions, I supose ), Tokens and, at last, the Standup Minis. Good minis, very good imho, but, sadly again, without back art. Too bad!

Wow, this is amazing. All the artwork is outstanding, but it's a real shame that the minis don't have backs.

Well, that artist has done all the hard work, now it's up to us to do the backs!

Paper minis with no backs are confusing because I can never tell if they are coming or going. I found that out when I created my own Silk Road Elves with only an 'A' side, - which is why I started to create backs for them.

Greetings. I'm not familiar with this website or community, but I noticed this thread pointing to my website. Thanks for the interest. I don't really know what you mean by backs, but I did make paper standups for the characters at one point. Does this interest you all?

'backs' would imply making one side of the standee represent the back side of the monster, preferably lining up perfectly with the front so you can cut around (close to) the edge of the standee. Alternatively, some folks take the shortcut of at least making one side be a gray-scale version of the front, so when on a play surface, there's a clear indication of which is the front and which is the back.

I don't really know what you mean by backs, but I did make paper standups for the characters at one point. Does this interest you all? Really amazing and evocative artwork you've done there! We mean that the paper minis our member/publishers produce usually present different artwork on each side, representing the front and back of the character/creature depicted. While some may use a mirrored image (like yourself), and some other paper mini producers may use silhouettes or grayscale renderings, most of us here prefer full back art - see OneMonk.com for work from our forum's founder, the current wizard, and forum members over the years. Your drawings are intricate enough that it would be a substantial challenge to do full back art for them, so I was being rather cheeky suggesting we could do it ourselves Thanks for sharing! You are more than welcome to join our merry band of misfits!

Oh ok, thanks. That's a really nice idea - having art on the back of the minis. For full disclosure, though, I didn't create the art for the minis. I commissioned Rick Hershey for that. I love what he did with the character art for the game.

I took the liberty of doing greyscale backs. It took less than 5min, so if you feel I have trodden on any toes, I can take these down again, easily done as said.

I own the rights for the art, and I definitely don't have an issue with it. You guys are free to use and disseminate as you want. I would aks that you point people to Skirmish Tactics Apocalypse, though, if you think they might be interested in the game. In the meantime, I'll post all the other standup minis too if you all are interested.

I spent a half hour checking out the game offerings on your site the other night, and while my hands are rather full right now learning D&D5E, I'll definitely revisit in the fall for another, deeper look. I've a couple of friends who might find this more up their alley than the fantasy I'm so deeply engrossed in right now...

Hopefully you find something that strikes your fancy. One of my playtesters for my card game, Allegiance, used it during a tavern scene in one of his sessions of D&D. It seemed fitting. =) All my games other than Skirmish Tactics Apocalypse are on www.digitalcapricorn.com
