I was wandering if I printed the Terra Force at 50% would it give me 15mm minis? Also if I were to reduce the models size in say Photoshop to 15mm that way I wouldn't have to mess with print scaling, what would be the best way about doing that lol?

How I'd do it (in GIMP): 1: rectangle select the figures 2: "float" the selection so it is its own layer 3: scale layer 50% 4: consider "sharpen" or "unsharp mask" (if the latter exists in photoshop 5: while you are at it; you can delete anything (like cutter registration marks) that you are not going to need. Also you could copy and paste other figures onto one page.

I would add that resizing in a photo program rather than relying on the PDF reader or printer driver is better as you have more control over the result, which is important when you start mixing figures. +1 for the "sharpen" / "unsharp mask". Nowadays I always apply it to the reduced figures (learned from a tip from Sir Kevin) it does make quite a difference. Oh, and one last thing: in Gimp, always check if the printed size (in the print preview) is exactly the same as that of your image. I have wasted some ink because I would import Letter sized pages, resize layers and print in A4 paper. Gimp silently reduced the pages (because the width would not fit) and I ended up with figures (and more aggravating, tiles) that were not the correct size.

Or you can just wait until next week when I upload 15 millimeter versions all shrunk down to 55 percent into the files at Onebookshelf. There will also be uncolored twenty eight millimeter versions of all of the Terra Force troops added into their Onebookshelf files. The reductions are done using the vector files not the raster files so they are very clean.

Will I just need to redownload the files from DriveThruRPG when they are updated? Lol I bought the Gruntz rule set and wanted to use them and the rules with Armor Grid Mech Atrack minis lol. Debating resizing the N.C.C. sets to go with lol.

I'm taking a break today. The 15 millimeters Elite Marines are taking a bit as there are 5 pages of them.

Lol sounds good! I forgot the elites were 5 pages lol, I just use the Axilary, Troops, Heavys, and Specials lol! On a side note I thought about using Slicks NCC troops also in 15mm. It says they are 30mm so would that just be a 50% print scale?

I reckon the marines that darkmook did for Avalon Games should turn out quite well in 15mm too - maybe not the 2.5D ones!! You can pick up low-res copies of them in issues 29,30 and 33 of their (free) Game Geek magazine on RPGNow if you don't want to splash out for them beforehand.

I was looking to see who. Did the grav bikes.... Apparently it was me. The summer of 2012 was confusing. I'll dig them out and get them finished

15mm versions of all Terra Force infantry packs now available to download as part of your OBS purchase! Just check your libraries for updates. I also took the opportunity to add blank/untextured versions of all of the sets for the mod crowd. I'm looking at reworking the Wolverine for a simpler build in 15mm. Still doodling and pondering...

Oops, thanks. That will be fixed sometime today. The re-color of the Terra force urban ops veterans was done in Photoshop so I don't think it will compress down to 15 millimeter scale very cleanly.
