I'm only half Icelandic (my mother is from Vestmannaeyjar), and I'm far from a fluent in Icelandic - but I do know it's pronounced Aya-fjadla-juh-kudl. the double l's constitutes a 'dl' sound. My mom had great fun listening to the Danish newsspeakers struggling with pronouncing it right.
