On the off chance that the membership of this august forum are interested in making things from things other than paper; allow me to inform said membership of the upcoming deadline for the T errain For Hippos Annual Terrain Compometition; a competition for the manufacture of wargames terrain using projects and/or techniques to be found on the blog; Terrain For Hippos. Note that the deadline has been extended to October 5th, but the images still say September 30th. Ignore those foolish un-updated images and their false deadlines (although do NOT ignore the rules contained therein!) May the best bipedal anthropod win!

The rules are completely contained in the image in the above post. If the image is not loading, the rule are these: Build a terrain item either features on TFH or using techniques from a project on TFH. Submit pics and text by October 5th. Sit back and bask in glory.

^ I had problems understanding what the heck the Hippo is saying... may I be so forward to suggest, that you consider writing it in a comprehensible language next time? Many of os are way too old to understand 'leetspeak', not to mention those of us who don't speak English as our first language, and thus have an extra hard time spelling our way through the 'hippo-lingo'.

I speak English as my first language and I gave up half way through. Even the Orksis use bad spellin sparingly.
