Hello, All! Longtime lurker, first time caller Apologies if I've put this in the wrong forum. Now that I've finally bought a Silhouette Portrait, I went to print some PDFs to use (Okumarts Treefolk and some WWG TLX). Every time, printing at "actual size" (letter), the bottom registration marks are cut off. I've tried two different PDF readers, Adobe & Foxit, and have gotten the same result with each. Am I doing something wrong? Does Adobe just hate me? I haven't even gotten to use my freakin' cutter yet! GAH! Any help would be enthusiastically appreciated! Thanks! Gene

I suspect you don't want actual size, you want to set scaling either to "none" or 100%, depending on your software. For instance, printing from Preview (on my iMac), which is the Mac OS built in PDF reader, I need to set my scaling to 100% in order to print accurately: If I were to choose "entire image" then it changes the scaling and will not print as intended. The options you see will be slightly different (different OS, different software) but you will need to poke around until you find the correct settings.

Or maybe what he is trying to print is A4 and he is printing on Letter. or visa-versa.
one is bigger than the other.

I suppose the question is: What type of printer are you using?

Thanks for the ideas, guys! Cheap printer seems the most possible. For confirmation, I'm going to give Office Max/Depot a try and see if their snazzy printers do it right. Wish me luck Gene
