pretty much all in the title. The only mounted barbarians i have found were more "mongol" style and those were the small ones at junior general. has anyone done any mods of existing figs like the Sanity Studio ones?

I generally have a good memory for these things, but I really do not remember seeing anything like that

Are you aware of the babarian Generator from okumarts? Allthough there are no mounted babarians.

You may find something in the collections of "Permes" ? He has some historical and some Fantasy stuff.

thank for the heads up but i have most of the Permes sets. If I can't find anything suitable I'll try to mod something to fit my needs or go with a "coalition" approach. I'll just have the classic "Conan" barbarians be the main bulk and driving force behind the army and have the archers and cavalry be hired mercenaries from the more "mongol"parts of the fantasy world.

Is this for a Wargaming scenario or is this what your SC have to face?

I have been printing out huge armies at half scale from multiple races. Once I get a few armies done and some independent units to be mercenaries I may try to work out a semi-simple large scale rules set for them. I used to make rule sets back in the 80's (nothing published) and thought I might give it a go again. I'll post some pics here in a little bit.

Actually it (Conan-like barbarians) might be good idea for RPG Heroes set! Perhaps something like these (quick mock-up so pls don't pay attention to details)? ..

Oh, my. Are you doing these as 15mm? I'm roughly printing at 50% so they are prob closer to 20mm but I had no defined scale in mind when I started other than I wanted to be able to use large formations in a practical space.

I have enjoyed everything I have purchased so far from your sets so I have no doubt that anything you put out close to what I need will be another great addition to my collection.

Mini's look great at the smaller scale - Theres a pile of free wargame rules over on the freewargamesrules wiki/site. Theres probably something there you could use or mod . I know under the sci-fi section I found at least 3 really solid looking mass battle rules. Unless you enjoy making rules in which case if there free don't forget to add them to the wikia site .
