Hi all!! i´m here again. This time finishing think that i left in the middle. When I stop doing minis i left a set almost al 75% done and it´s a debt finish those guys. I must remember one of them, he was in a Papercut award, the two ladies are new for you. It´ll be a set of Adventurers: Dwarves or Dwarfs (i´d never understand why there are two words for the plurar ) (Which of them i must use??). Like i always do, and to please the ladies on the forum, will be male and females version of each character. I hope you like it

Indeed, welcome back Reivaj!
In English, "dwarfs" is generally understood to be more correct, and there is a school of thought that suggests "dwarves" derives solely from its use in J. R. R. Tolkien's Middle Earth novels, because he wanted to separate "his" dwarves from the real-world medical-condition dwarfs. However, the Oxford English Dictionary cites an early usage of "dwarves" to 1818, well before Tolkien's lifetime, and typical English pronunciations of the word could be used phonetically to support either variant. So I'd say, don't worry about it
(As an aside, this logic would also suggest "elfs" could be as equally applied as "elves", though this doesn't seem to be the case at all, judging by the OED at least, which cites just one example, and that as "elfes", from 1579.)
Wonderful poses, I just want to see a lot more beards! Even in the female dwarves! (Tolkien was very specific on that, the plural is dwarves and the female have beards! A matter on taste says some people, but my taste runs with Tolkien.)

This is a set of twelve paper minis with front and back art in 300 dpi. This set try to include the most iconic characters for RPG and Wargames. The set includes 1 warrior male, 1 warrior female, 1 paladin male, 1 paladin female, 1 rogue male, 1 rogue female, 1 cleric male, 1 cleric female, 1 wizard male, 1 wizard female, 1 crossbow male and 1 crossbow female. The set also have two sets of bases hex, for the minis because they use the exchangeable base system so your minis may use different types of bases according to the place where your game´s set up. I hope you like them
Thank you very much guys!. It was a long time not doing minis, this is a set that started last year and just now I could finish, as you will see in the pdf says 2014.
Hackbart thanks, i use a lot of reference images to decide the poses of each mini, it take a long time to see a lot of image and chosse the correct for every character. I think that girls may be will want a more female character to use, because of this i make female dwarfs without beard, but you can always make a custom one from my dwarfs girls
Parduz thank you. Looking for back I can also see the progress, much is due also to the management of new programs that I learned to use. That Knight girl was a Jim´s Sketch that i finished in my first steps in photoshop
cowboyleland: Now I have seen it. It doesn't advance our hobby, but anyone with half a brain who wanted 2nd rate figures could easily figure this out for themselves so I guess he isn't doing any harm.

berneart76: well, this is fun, (not) transferring all my papercrafting sets into the cloud. The stuff I got from DriveTrhruRPG was simple with their library desktop app,but my other stuff, sometimes with multiple duplicate copies is entertaining.

berneart76: Vermin King I usually use a mix of drybrush/watercolor/photocopy and occasionally posterizing at different levels of opacity.

berneart76: Vermin King, that's similar to the enhancing that I do on my texturing. I've found that sometimes I need to scale up or scale down the image (usually by 50 or 25 percent down or 200 or 300 percent up) to make get the enhancements to look "right"

Vermin King: On the zebras, I did multiple enhancements and cartoon filters and used them at 100%, and they still didn't look that different than the photos

Vermin King: When I make a figure or terrain piece based on a photo, I clean it up and align things to look 'right', then I create another layer and do enhancing and cartoonizing on it. I then adjust opacity over the photo image until it looks good. On the zebras,

Vermin King: berneart76, do you mean giving them green or purple manes and tails? and a few piercings? maybe a cig hanging out of their mouths?

Vermin King: cartoonizing a zebra doesn't do much

ignatious: Actually I was referring to the two previous posts. I was trying to be subtle in order to sublimate the crassness. Read them again, but in Mel Brooks voice while he is winking, and nudging the person to his right.

Vermin King: Sure. Euphemize us

ignatious: would anyone care for a euphemism?

cowboyleland: We hadn't had snow for a few days. Last night the plow came down my street and did nothing but fill every ones driveways back in. Just for practice, I guess.

Vermin King: In KC we had an ice storm (with thunder sleet) the other night. Left things drivable, but last night the plow came down my street. They took all the rough edges off. Might as well have ran a Zamboni...
