The theme for this months HOARD is Clockpunk & Dieseldammerung! This can be any sort of miniature on the above theme or feel free to submit miniatures off theme. If you submit a figure, they must include both front and rear art, have a proper trimming outline, and include instructions for multi-part models. Recolors and figure mods are encouraged, and even uncolored designs are welcome. No nudity or sexuality, but bloody gory and horrifying is encouraged. If you have questions about how to design your figures, like formats, resolution, and stuff like that, see the HOARD GUIDELINES in this forum category. Entries for the Hoard will be accepted until the last day of May, 2015. I believe I will be submitting a penny-farthing mounted anarchist inventor wielding an electro-rifle.

Clockpunk! Dieseldammerung! I have no idea what either of those things mean! Let's do this!

I like it! Springs, Gears, Oily Operations at Dusk! I'll have to put my mind to work on something for this.... Oh, and curiously, Dieseldammerrung is apparently an actual film.... Diesel-Dammerung ( translates as Diesel-Twilight, a documentary on post WWII Porsche diesel tractors???)

Nooooo, but I`ve been suggesting clockpunk forever and it is finally here but I am busier than I have been in years and I have two half finished (optimistically) projects I could submit and FATE: WHY DO YOU MOCK ME SO!
I am very excited to see what everyone else does.

I love this theme but am having a little trouble focusing my ideas. Any thoughts for inspiration or requests for a specific kind of clockwork or dieselpunk contraption? I might go with some kind of tractor-mech if I cant think of anything else...

I'm considering readdressing an old design I prototyped years back for a steak/clockpunk Tachicoma.

Unfortunately, I haven't had the time to work on anything for this, but the good news is that i'm getting closer to finishing up my Piers set for release...

Well, that's unfortunate number of entries... I have several unfinished pieces that I'll see about completing as I can't stand an empty Hoard. On to June and Swashbucklers!

My time to work on projects this past month has been sadly limited on account of a family tragedy. While I haven't had the time to do a more complicated 3d model like I'd first planned, I should be able to whip up something by the end of today or tomorrow in the vein of this month's Hoard.
Hmm... I'm thinking a clockwork/brass golem. That may also be a dragon. I shall return shortly! *runs to worktable*

Re-tooled a stone dragon golem from one of our other 8-bit projects to be a brass golem instead. Being one of our older pieces, it didn't have a back side. Rather than doing up another side view, I kitbashed it to be 2.5D, which is exciting for me since I've never done 2.5D before! Here is a quick test build photo. Colors are washed out because it's a draft-quality print from a printer low on ink, so it should much more vibrant when I'm done. Didn't like the connector tabs I did for the legs, so I'll be redoing them, adjusting colors, adding fold boxes, and (thanks again squirmydad for the files) formatting for print at 300dpi with room for robo-cutters! Brass Dragon Golem to the Rescue!

In theory the links have been replaced by "sharable" links. Sorry bout that, I generally avoid using google docs/drive/etc/anything. Can someone confirm if they are working, please?
Also updated to add build instructions.
