Working on this years onepagedungeon contest and a nice distraction from the hordes of 15mm wargame minis, i find myself experimenting with dungeon tiles and things to put in them. Including minis =), so with only one page and a whole dungeon to put in it I turn to 10mm and a super deformed approach. and its been i while since i put some minis up, so here you go see what you think. Been playing with "glow" and a few other fun approaches. drive.google.com/file/d/0B0ILcboyDVtFdGYzcnV4N2paNFU/view?usp=sharing8rad

Awesome! You have really great talent. Thanks for sharing. It's a pity that there is no other side.

Awesome! You have really great talent. Thanks for sharing. It's a pity that there is no other side. Thanks though about backs but at 10mm and a more fun mini did not seem to take much away. Whats the general thoughts for 10mm.

Whats the general thoughts for 10mm. I've only used cast 10mm-scale 3D minis and scenery for dungeoneering (using the UK-produced Pendraken minis and scenery sets), and they work pretty well, if a little fiddly at times. Only thing I would say is that mini facing, and identifying it, can be quite important, so backs for your minis might be something worth considering. This does depend on what rules you're using though.

It might be that at 10mm a *gasp* plain grey back would be good. Some figures would be difficult to tell front and back at that scale. A grey back would be clear and (hopefully) not too distracting.

Tiny note for next time: it is a little easier to build the minis if the fold lines are aligned, rather than the fromt tabs. They look really good. I especially like the glow around the skeletons.

For sure, i know what you mean about the fold lines. But as im so tight for space (still got a dungeon, traps, loot and doors to fit on to one A4 page) i needed the tabs to form the base instead of slotting into a separate base. I was a bit unsure at first on the glow as was not sure how it would print, but pretty happy with it now.

Dungeon design is hard going, after many attempts its slowly coming together, inked adventures made it look so easy =). Here the warrior and elf prepare to meet a skeleton host lead by an evil warrior.

This is quite brilliant! I love the way no two items on the page are exactly the same - especially the option to have every door in the dungeon be different to the others! There could be a market for more sets like this - which would also increase the range of similarly-styled 10mm-scale monsters (was that too subtle a hint? ). I'd give serious thought to maybe making this available more widely for Free RPG Day in June, as a PDF download, say (though I'm not sure if the One Page Dungeon Contest folks already do this?). If so, perhaps with an extra page of dungeon outline notes?

Cheers guys, hope you enjoy it. The one page dungeon people put all the dungeons into a yearly compendium which is pay what you want on rpgnow, any proceeds going into the prize fund for the next years contest. I would love for there to be a market for these as they are super fun and quick to make.

Got loads of good feedback on the super small dungeon. So been brewing up another, going to be a orc gobo dungeon in the same but much more refined style. Also have the need to try sculpt/cast minis based on them as well =). p

Thanks aaron for the great feed back =), Making more for sure. The Orcs and adventures 3 posts up are for the first new one, which will be the free on rpgnow/drivethurrpg to launch a group at maybe 2 dollars each. The first being a orcs nesty type thing, second undead barrow and a cthulu Egyptian style one so far. As you can see learning to sculpt for future maybe 3d resign versions =). Need much more sculpting skills first, making a metal slug marco next and learning to make molds. I do have a site, a tad neglected at the mo but theres some older stuff there. 8radgames.co.uk
