So I'm on a secret project now that will (I expect) eventually translate into something very useful for Miniature play.. That's all I can say about it right now.. hehehe..

Okay, new project took about two weeks for the first part, I expect now that I've worked out the kinks I can get each part done much faster. I've got 16 parts total in the project, and hope to have them all done by mid-February.. The skills I'm developing for this project will be revealed when it goes to kickstarter, hopefully by March. That said, I've got less than a week to raise some commission money so I can get a physical to keep my Class-B drivers license, so I'm working on those now. First one up, a Lemurian Shifter in bio-armor.

Managed to get enough to keep the license, and some extra to pay for some Christmas presents. Another from the Lemurian Commission, Tearoa, a Lemurian warrior with a coral bow.

Finished the commissions a few days ago, so now I can go back to the secret project for Palladium. Here's one of the ten characters in my last commission piece, a genetically engineered Monkey Boy Mechanic from RIFTS: Chaos Earth. The group of survivors he's part of found their way to Cheyenne Mountain and were able to recover a cache of Air Force armor and equipment. Have a Merry Happy Holy Chrisma-Hannu-Kwanz-Diwali!

Hey, any interest in a set of combat robots? Yes! Happy New Year!

Happy New Year to you too.
I'm thinking of putting these out on my own; there really isn't a direct tie-in to any of Palladium's games with this design, but they could be useful in any number of game systems..

Two more from the big commission at the end of last year, the combat oriented characters.

I just spoke with Kevin, and with Savage RIFTS being the number one anticipated game this year, RIFTS Paper Minis are a go.. I've shown previews of some of what I've already got done, but there will be more on the way, all to be released in the 'near' future.

Been a rough couple of weeks for me.. My best friend of 24 years is moving to Philadelphia.. tonight I forced myself out of the dulldrums long enough to put this one together.

Geez, didn't realize I hadn't updated in so long.. I'll try to get a couple of my latest up in the next day or two.. Working on a commission with 10+ characters, focused on getting them all designed first.

Current commission has several characters, essentially from a fantasy campaign. Here are a few of them. I don't normally go for the computer generated paper minis, prefering hand drawn... but that's a nice werewolf!

I don't normally go for the computer generated paper minis, prefering hand drawn... but that's a nice werewolf! Thanks! I think one of the biggest problems with 3D is that people don't put much effort into their characters, they just use what the buy; 'morphs' are generally represented as a dial, with one end being 0% morph, the other being 100% morph. So when you see a 3D character, it's usually just someone having turned a dial to 100%. I use multiple dials and tweak the percentages to mix and match morphs until I get something I like.. The results are what you see.

DazStudio, with about 14 years worth of accumulated content, and Photoshop for post-work, of which I do significantly more than most 3D artists.

The Zadrak Orc tribe has become the most formidable horde in the Old Kingdom, thanks to their pledge of loyalty to Baron Marquest of Castle Instax. Better trained, better equipped and better organized than most Orcs, their presence has for the most part remained secret to the outside world, with little more than rumors reaching the nearby Timiro Kingdom, all of which are dismissed as absurd. A Zadrak Archer:

Goblins make fun player characters in the Palladium Megaverse, and as the adventure will center around a mission started by a Thieves Guild, one of the PCs will be one:

The trek to discover the Tombs of Gersidi is long and arduous, and involves crossing the ruins of the Old Kingdom, so a Ranger will be needed:

Can't have an adventure party without Magic.. Here's a Fire Warlock and a Priest of Dragonwright; the Church of Dragonwright lost a holy artifact on a previous expedition to the Tombs, now they're willing to pair with the Black Raven Thieves Guild to get it back..

I realized this afternoon that I hadn't put a full image in my gallery for some time, so I threw this character together at work, along with this mini.

A friend called me last night to see if I knew what the stats were for a German Shepard in Palladium's Megaverse. I let him know what they were and went on with what I was doing. This morning before church I got on Facebook and discovered that today is his birthday. So after church in about three hours I threw together a set of Guard Dogs; 2 minis for each of 7 poses in all 3 breeds, for 42 minis (presented in both of my standard formats) with dirt textured bases. Now to get them in the market.. Probably put the $2.99 price point on it, as that's what I'm going with on all the rest of my almost-finished sets of 14 minis each, and this was easier to throw together than most. (the seventh pose is a sitting pose)

The Savage RIFTS Kickstarter is blowing every one away! And since Savage Worlds is generally a mini-oriented RPG, they've approached Palladium for permission to do Paper flats as an add-on.
The boss declined, as he's already contracted someone to make them.. Me!
Cleaning up my Coalition Deadboys set, and the Adventurers set now.. They may be in the market as early as the beginning of next week.
