IMHO it looks a bit "duck-faced"?? I always imagined Droyne as having a slightly more raptor-like beak..... Y5IMV (Your 5th Imperium May Vary)!!!

I think you got the body shape right. I would agree with migibb that a narrower, toothier face would be closer to the original. And and more talon in the toes would also be good.

Thanks for the input guys, you're completely right. I had to break down and use a second figure to form the head and make the primary figures head invisible to fix it, as many of the morphs used to make each correct also affect the shape and size of the body. I'm very happy with the results now.

Looking good madmanmike. That was exactly what I was envisioning when I suggested that.

Thanks. Yesterday before work I printed and assembled the T20 Game Master Screen; This weekend I hope to get my group to make characters and plan to do a starter adventure of my own design I call "Murder on the Triton Express"; Space Cruiser Mystery. To that end I started putting together some NPC minis.. I believe it's Mongoose that holds the copyright on Traveller, may have to cut a deal to publish these things..

I contacted Mongoose and they said I could sell my own minis as long as I put the legal text and the Travellers' Aide Society logo on the product. So sometime soon I'll have a package or two ready to go. A friend suggested I do six-packs at $1.89 instead of the 14 at $2.99 that I've been doing.. What do you guys think?

Small sets can be bundled on OBS, but large sets can't be split up without converting them into new products so...I'd say do small sets at $2-ish, and then bundle them into compatible groups for $3-5. That gives you and your customers maximum flexibility.

Set one is in the store, sets two and three are on their way, hopefully this evening. Imperial Marines! Set two will be Marines in B.D.U.s, set three will be Marines in Light Armor.
Set four may be a few days, Marines in Heavy Armor. Traveller Marines have a very iconic look, I want to get it right.

I think I've nailed down my style for the Imperial Marines Battle Dress. Now to make the 18 minis for the set.

My Heroes Unlimited minis are in the store now. While I'm working my 80 hours before GenCon, I'm going to turn out a set of Kaigaku minis to add to the charity bundle they're doing. Hopefully before Tuesday night they'll be done. The Charity bundle is just $10 and is filled with books, Check it out!

No, the one you downloaded is the print resolution one; I'm talking about when I put it in my open DeviantArt Gallery; people don't bother to read the description and use the download button, they just right-click the preview image like a thief and idiot and get a lower resolution image. If they use the download button, it logs that they've downloaded the image, and they get the highest resolution version. I don't put very many files up on DeviantArt with the intention of allowing downloads, but when I do they all fail epically at acquiring the files.. Apologies for resurrecting this dormant comment - but I wanted you to know that A) I think your Mystery Gang is awesome, and B) I downloaded it, all official like! Cheers!

So I've been having a very rough time at work with my new boss, she's determined to either make me quit or find a way to fire me. That's made life too stressful to do much in the way of art. Right now I'm trying to finish processing the Rifts Board Game map down into tiles so I can get paid, clearly I'm going to need the extra money soon.

It's the worst when other people's decisions and actions make your life difficult. Stay the course, take the high road. Keep your chin up and update your resume. You can do amazing stuff and I am thinking your abilities will speak for themselves. On another note, have you considered 3d printing of your models? If they are already in a 3d modeling program format it wouldn't be too difficult. This seems to be a real growth area in the hobby.

Thanks. Unfortunately the cost of license fees for the models I use is too prohibitive for 3D printing.
My day job is direct care staff in assisted living for teens and young adults with autism and/or mental/psychological disabilities. I've been with my company for 1600 days today. Fortunately, male staff in this industry are like unicorns, so I should have no trouble getting hired on at one of the other companies. Unfortunately, I've spent the majority of my time with two awesome young adults that are like my own kids, and I'll have to leave them because of this harpy.

You could do your own sci fi minis, not connected to what you are doing for Palladium AS WELL AS the paper minis licensed by Palladium.

I've been doing the Traveller minis licensed to Mongoose, but I've also set up my own business account to do my own stuff, El Cheapo Products; I just haven't had the time to put any together yet. I met a rep from Drivethru at GenCon and he walked me through the process of getting a creator account, and then I licensed my business name with the state; I've been using it for 25 years, lol, about time it was legal.

I'm sorry you are having issues with the assisted living facility. My son and his girlfriend work at a nursing home that just got a new administrator that seems to be trying to get the place shut down. It seems that in that type of industry, too many folks get into management that have no skills for the job. I still haven't figured this one out, but the father of one of my son's old girlfriends got canned from his auto parts job and walked right into management with a home health service. How does that happen?

I had my meeting with the owner and my bosses supervisor. I was astonished to be treated with dignity and respect. They were supportive, compassionate and caring. My boss came in and we were able to work everything out.
I've lost 8 jobs over the years due to my autism, this is the first time I wasn't thrown to the wolves.
Family get together this weekend, then I've got a couple of commissions to finish before I jump back into minis..
I'm thinking I might take one of my side-sets and put them up to test the waters on my new business account; I did a set of Desert folks a while back for a friend, may clean them up and put them out.

Madmanmike glad everything seems to be working out, a quick question about your minis, are your minis true 25mm or are they 32mm, only reason I ask is because when mixed with the other minis on the hoards, they seem smaller

One inch base assuming that's five feet, makes the minis average 6ft tall. Sorry I've never been a mini guy before I started these so I hope that answers your question.
I find people tend to prefer what I'm told is "Heroic Scale", but mine are more realistic proportions.

UPDATE
More good news at work; on November 1st my primary consumer is moving to a different house with a single higher functioning housemate, and I get to go with him; even better, my hours will switch from 3-11PM to 1-9PM, so I'll have time to unwind after work! In theory, this should greatly improve my productivity as stress levels should go down dramatically.
Also, the Rifts Board Game is starting to move along again; the map idea was killed by the trolls on the kickstarter, so I had to take my 24x30 map and break it up into 6 tiles; I'm doing two more tiles this week to round it off, so you can make a 33x33 board with an interior tile in the middle. Also getting paid for that work will be nice!
Running my first Traveller game on Saturday, and although I'll be using a 0hr ship for the map, I'm working towards adapting my ship designs to make deck plans for sale on DriveThru.
I mentioned taking one of my side-sets and putting them up, but haven't had the time. I've got a set of desert folk, a set of contemporary civilians and a set of guard dogs (Rotts, Dobermans and German Shepards). Maybe this week or next.

Ugh! Been too long!
Traveller game didn't happen, only two players showed so we watched a movie.
My primary consumer moved and my hours changed, and now they're about to change again; one of his old housemates (not the one he moved to get away from) is moving in on Friday, and as of Monday I'll be working 9-5 for the first time in my life.
And the big news: Last night I uploaded my first product to DrivethruRPG.com under my own company name, El Cheapo Products! Our moto: "Talk about your El Cheapo!"
Now after uploading so many products, I find myself annoyed at having to wait for this one to get into the store. It's a simple set of Desert Folk, along with a small square building, an 8x10 desert card with a 1 inch grid, and the same desert and grid at 24x30 inches.
Working on a couple of other generic sets, some Contemporary folks, and a set of guard dogs in various poses (and 3 breeds).
More when it finally drops.
