Below are collections of PNG files I've been sharing with people that help add registration marks to PDFs. The first set is a layout in which there's a 1" margin at the top of the page where you can put product branding. Some folks might like to have a simple, consistent banner at the top of their files, and this makes that simple. There are times when you might want to squeak a little more space out of the page for actual graphics. The second zip file contains registration marks with a smaller top margin. If you get in the habit of putting your product branding on a layer that can be toggled off, you can probably have the best of both worlds! Note that the "cutting_area.png" file is meant to be a layer for designing with. DO NOT include it in your PDF or exported images. The grey areas represent places where you CAN NOT put graphics, or else reading the registration marks may fail. Note that this is not quite true. Though they advise not having graphics all long that bottom edge, I include a message indicating the direction to feed the page, and have never had a problem with registration marks being read automatically... I think your mileage may vary in this space. Just do NOT put graphics in the rectangles corner that would contain the registration marks. THAT is sure to screw things up. I've also included a "sample.studio3" file that should have the registration marks in the right place, letting you get designing compatible cutfiles more easily. There's a readme.txt in there that has a little bit of info on my preferred settings and styles. Registration mark layers with margins for product banner: reg_mark_layers.zip (14.6 KB) Registration mark layers with minimal margins: reg_mark_layers.zip (15.28 KB) I will try to do a walkthrough guide to building cutfiles soon.

Got it. Shouldn't be too difficult to re-position things to fit in the cutting area designated.
