I'm planning to make an entry into the March Hoard, and will probably make it this guy: He's looking OK at the moment, but I need to do the back of the figure. I'm also considering adding a short cape/cloak. DaveA

Looking good Tonsha! Cant wait to see how the cloak goes together. I think its great that Jim has been releasing his parts so that we all can do some experimenting!

I totally agree!! Jim's parts are superb! (and I don't mean that in any 'funny' way!!) DaveA

I think its great that Jim has been releasing his parts so that we all can do some experimenting! Totally! It's a nice, easy, non-time consuming way for Jim to expand the number of poses without him having to actually do it himself! onemonkeybeau

Humph!
Missed out on the March Hoard as well. I'll try for the April one.

Right. This ended up being a bit of a rush job, but I wanted to get something finished for the April 2009 hoard. It's a bit different to how I started. I took the individual Elf parts and tried converting them to vector format in Inkscape using potrace. This allowed me to put the figure together very quickly, but the quality of the individual parts was not as good as the original front image. The white lines around the individual parts are the result. Pity. Oh well. I've learned some interesting lessons from doing this. And I've got a figure to submit to the Hoard, so that's something, eh? DaveA
