Miniature Wargames magazine, issue 394 for Feb 2016, includes an article on the 180th anniversary of the siege of the Alamo in Texas, during February-March 1816. The piece includes a wargame-friendly plan view of the buildings and compound, with thumbnails of the downloadable PDF files to construct your own 3D paper version in 1/900 scale, designed by Jeff Brown. You can freely download it from the MW website, via this page, by clicking the link for issue 394 immediately after the words: "Jeff Brown’s print-and-make rendition of the Alamo buildings." The link is a direct download of the zipped file set, as the model comes on seven A4 sheets, plus the plan view. Although these can be successfully enlarged on-screen, the resolution isn't quite good enough to pull it up to 30mm scale (or at least it wasn't on the part of the page I checked). It should be acceptable still for 15mm usage though, I think, and would certainly be fine at 1/300 scale. There may be issues for anyone not using A4 paper however, as some of the items are drawn very close to the top and bottom of the pages, and that could create difficulties when printing to US Letter-sized paper. If you're rescaling anyway though, that may not be such a problem.
