mesper: Just a thought, but have you considered converting some of your Egyptians to fantasy undead Egyptians? I've been developing ideas around a small pyramid tomb adventure lately, for D&D 5e, and while there are plenty of mummies available as paper minis (including among the PERMES sets!), and even some Ancient Egyptian skeleton warriors (e.g. Papercraft Dungeon), it would be interesting to have something like an undead Egyptian chariot, for example, and also some skeleton archers perhaps. I don't recall seeing any paper minis of either of these, though I may simply have missed them. And then of course there'd be options for all the tomb treasures, canopic jars, sarcophagi, etc., in a scenery set I think I warned you before that I could always think up more ideas than you'd have time to work upon. So, looks like I may have just done it again

So, looks like I may have just done it again Sounds like a good idea! Actually once I did some sort of approach to undeads... specifically Roman Legionnaires, but then abandoned this idea and project. So maybe I'll revive this project someday adding something like Egyptian Mummies Cohort(?) and then some modern/urban sets just to "complete the picture" and keep it within one mini-series (like Undeads: xyz, Undeads: zxy etc.)? What I'm reluctant is all types of skeletons - it's not appealing theme for me and then I found skeletons as extremely tough to (proper) draw. BTW here's a preview of some old sketches:

The undead legionairres are wonderful!!! Please, please, please finish that set off!!!! Actually that's just a bunch of sketches, so nothing even close to set! Hmm, but as "undead" theme gives some scope/range of room and space for imagination (so just something more or less lookalike "Roman" or "Egyptian" would be fine?) it might be fun to do... Anyway, just established dedicated working space with all the sub directories and gathered resources, drafts, layouts etc. so now at least most of the start-content (sort of seed) is in one place, so it would be constantly drawing my attention

...so just something more or less lookalike "Roman" or "Egyptian" would be fine? Personally, I'd be potentially interested in any new undead with themes beyond the ubiquitous "general medieval". So ancient Roman, Egyptian, Hittite, Persian, Greek, etc., undead could all have points of interest. Or maybe even a mixed set drawn from these, and more. Only snag is, most would need to be largely skeletal, as being in the "ancient dead" category. However, the advantage of using historical(-ish) armour and clothing might reduce the amount of bony structure visible on such minis. And don't forget the chariots, of course!
