Went to Genet Models and had some webpage facing of a patent drawing service. Right URL address - just viewing totally wrong page from someone doing business since 2005!

The sub pages/topics that I can get on Google search all come up with "404" errors

Yep, things are OK. Busy with work, as usual. I try and keep an eye on the Genet Models website on the weekends to make sure it's running properly, but it's difficult to find enough free time to do anything papercraft related at the kind of quality level people expect from me, so things have been very slow on that front.

One has to know when they are spreading themselves too thin. Work has to be the priority.
Doesn't mean that we don't wish you so much success that you will have more time for paper model design again.
At least I hope that if you became independently wealthy you'd have more time for the fun things

That's good to hear! Definitely miss ya on the paper model end but I've been hearing a ton of good about The Gallery, really thinking about getting a VR kit this summer so I can play it and try a few others out lol.

Yup - everything copastetic now - thanks, Chris. I also join in wishing you good results on the real paying stuff (job) in your busy life and wait patiently for more great flavored (read: textured) goodness when you find some time to steal away from those other endeavors ... ")

At least I hope that if you became independently wealthy you'd have more time for the fun things That's kind of the idea behind my detour into video games. Just like back in the early 2000s with paper craft, Denny and I saw an opportunity to use our skills to get in on the ground floor of something new and different, and so far it's working out well. I figured that if I busted my ass for a few years doing stuff that pays gonzo money compared to paper craft, I can end up in a position where I'm free to devote as much time as I need to paying hobbies without worrying about whether or not the bills get paid next month. Plus, and this is kinda funny, I came into paper models from an amateur video game development background, and a lot of the same tricks carried over into my paper models, and that in turn got me into professional video game development, and wait for it--the state of the art in video game development has advanced to a truly ridiculous point compared to where I left the amateur scene 15-something years ago, so I've picked up a whole bunch of new tricks directly applicable to my future re-entry into paper models. Talk about things being circular... That's good to hear! Definitely miss ya on the paper model end but I've been hearing a ton of good about The Gallery, really thinking about getting a VR kit this summer so I can play it and try a few others out lol. Shipping the first episode was an exciting milestone. We've got 3 more left to do and I'm looking forward to getting into the more fantastical aspects of the storyline with those episodes. One of the things I want to do eventually is do VR-compatible model previews like the old Pinzgauer 3D walkaround, but more interactive, with stuff like you could actually open the cockpit hatch or make the belly cargo bay open/close. VR is kind of still in the early adopter stage so these walkarounds would definitely be usable on regular displays and have mouse/keyboard/gamepad support and not just VR support. I think it'd be a hoot. Yup - everything copastetic now - thanks, Chris. I also join in wishing you good results on the real paying stuff (job) in your busy life and wait patiently for more great flavored (read: textured) goodness when you find some time to steal away from those other endeavors ... ") It'll be a while but most likely worth the wait. New tools, new workflows, new goodies.

That would be amazing to have full walk arounds and interactive parts, brings a whole new neat level to the table lol!
