Hi there. It's me. The new forum butterfly. Please post more stuff. WIPs, why you hate this season of Big Bang Theory, why Victorian toilets were superior (or not,) whatever excites you for the moment. This is literally my only internet destination right now and I am relying on y'all to maintain my mental health Thank you in advance, -Coyotepunc

Right now, I'm totally peeved with work (and I work off overrides, so if the guys aren't writing business, I don't get paid. Working harder, making less)
Getting back into KC Royals baseball, because you can have the game on and still get stuff done.
Eagerly anticipating the next season of Doctor Who, and wishing there would be more series like Time Scanners, Barbarians Rising, The Greeks, and Beowulf.
My garden is dying

Well I suppose in my neck of the woods I got a new 2017 Ford Escape a couple weeks ago due to my 2000 Ford Windstars transmission going out (and a handful of other problems, just getting to costly to fix). As for shows I just watched Stargate Atlantis all the way through for like the third time (I love that show), and I need to watch season 6 of Game of Thrones and catch up with Big Bang Theory (pretty sure I'm 2-3 seasons behind). Other than that just bought No Mans Sky on the PS4 and love it (a good exploration game). Might also get me a new PC soon so I can quit using my iPad for everything lol.

I'm drowning in projects right now. I'm working on a papercut entry (if it fits in the rules), preparing a Far Trek game for my Trek party from the 1990's (including converting the characters from FASA Trek to Far Trek), working on a book project for a local publishing house, writing a game supplement for Private Eye, designing a board game (that I plan to offer as print&play on DTRPG), modding some more Trek minis (the Borg, some "The Cage"-era crewmen, some more 2.5D ships), preparing some Edge of the Empire for my Friday's game group... Aside from diving deep into Word, InDesign, and Photoshop, I like to watch my daily Law & Order. One of our local cable stations is re-running the series with two episodes every weekday morning – the perfect background noise for my breakfast. Also, another station is finally airing the 4th season of Death in Paradise. Yay! And then there is my weekly dose of Midsomer Murders (two episodes) every Monday evening... As you can see, I love me a good crime/detective show. And then there is the joy of waiting for Star Trek: Discovery. My terminal excuse to get Netflix. Oh, and like in every August of the past 10 years, the weather here in Germany sucks royally. On some days, you can have spring, summer, fall, and winter... and in the afternoon the same but the other way round.

Ha! I knew y'all weren't just papercraft-producing robots!
I love seeing under the hood and knowing the people behind the work.

Wish I had time to draw and learn how to use a computer for more than just looking online, also wish I had more time to play games. Work every weekday, come winter I will be working more (propane service, heating season coming up) watch crime/detective shows with the wife, walking dead staring soon, well fear the walking dead. I like to read the older Star wars books, right now I'm slowly trying to make a bunch of paper minis for dnd that I get to play on Wednesday nights. Other things, my car is not working, which is ok, I have a work truck I get to take home. My well is on the fritz, have to pull some pipes out and see if there's anything I can do. Wife starting final year of college, and I might have time to hang out with friends and play some This is Not a Test, and Frostgrave

I like posting, but it sometimes slows down my work-flow. This summer I've written an adventure for Save the Day (Team Canada), released a set of Poorly Dubbed Action hero paper minis, Wrote and published the Anime Hack, Written two Supervillain books (out later today) for Save the Day, and worked on two sets of paper minis for an Italian game (part of the DFD KS I did a while back), almost finished a customizable generic superhero set of paper minis for Save the Day (out soon), worked on finishing a KS only expansion for DFD (really, almost done). There is also the RPG of Darkfast Dungeons that needs a once over as character creation got a bit muddy for some reason (I need about two weeks of solid work on this to complete it). I have dwarven mecha and dragons coming out soon. I just have to do the backs of the mechs and finish the darn dragons. I'm also working on pages for my online comic (Contraption) which is wrapping up soon so I better get on that.
I'm only one person, but sometimes it doesn't seem like that.

Ok, so a bit about me: I have been involved in miniatures, plastic models, paper models, and rpgs since about 1980. I have worked a variety of jobs that have left me with a nice nametag collection. I worked freelance for Dark Age Games from about 2004ish to 2010ish. My most recent job (which did not involve a nametag, but a state employee identification badge) has left me on temporary disability for the last two years for some physical issues but mostly a severe case of PTSD. My games of choice are DBA 3.0, Frostgrave, FiveCore, and Victorian Science Fiction (which is a genre, not a game, but I have a small army.)
I have been actively using papercraft scenery with traditional sculpted miniatures for about 15 years now. I used some standees during a D&D 4.0 campaign 6 years ago when I could not acquire or created what monsters were needed. I recently started plumbing this forum for Star Trek stuff, because I really want to do some Star Trek with FiveCore, but am really out of money at this point. But the resources here are incredible, and I am really enjoying my 2D printed figures.

I am not posting much because I am back and forth to the cottage and there is not internet up there. No TV either. We read fantasy novels and play board games when we are not swimming or shooting our bows. Getting used to the idea that my oldest is moving out for University in a few weeks and I am supposed to be keeping limbered up for remounting my Shakespeare in the Park Macbeth inside at the end of Sept. I need to build some new props for that, and put some brick down on the driveway I had to tear up when an old lead water pipe burst in the spring. It was supposed to be that son's job but he has prioritised hanging with his friends this summer so . . .

Oh, Cowboyleland, you are in trouble for referring to the Scottish Play by name! We're in the Arizona mountains avoiding the Mojave Desert hundred degrees at midnight that is August. We go to movies (Star Trek, Bourne and the egregious Central Intelligence), go to dinner, read, and I paint minis. All of Undercity ae painted and about a third of Zombicide Black Plague. Soon August will be done and we'll be back in the land of mandatory, health necessary air conditioning. On a good note, we arrived after the wild fires here in AZ, and avoided the wildfires back home. The Bluecut Fire caused my son's in laws to evacuate to his house. I got a text that said "My things are being touched by unwashed hands!" OTOH, I missed him playing WH40K with his 6 and 8 yo daughters using my set of TerraTiles for terrain.

I'm a full time theatre technician (lighting and scenic design, rigger, live concert audio, video stuff) for the public schools. Before this I worked at the University and as a freelancer, so twenty-two years in this profession. I spend my non-theatre time drinking coffee, playing video games with my kids, and trying out recipes with my wife. My eldest has decided he wants to play 40K, fortunately it's Space Orks that he likes so I pulled my old army out of storage and I've been teaching him painting techniques and a few gaming strategies. When I'm not doing those things I'm designing and/or building paper models and miniatures and playing card and board games with my friends. That's normally what I do, but I've spent the last five months recovering from a medical incident (not trying to be vague, I just don't have any answers) that left me very weak and extremely confused. I'm still getting better.

Last November I decided to buy the multi-service cleaning company that I worked at for 2 years. I was real busy implementing new things and put my game design business on the back burner until June, then I jumped on an opportunity as a volunteer for Reforged Studios (co-owned by Tuomas Pirinen, designer of Mordheim) with a mythology/space opera themed TTWG (Andy Chambers formerly of GW is a designer for this game). Since then I have done extensive rules review, 36 play testing sessions, made prototype unit bases with unit data on them and just finished posting Army Cards for all the units.I have been using Okumarts and One Monk Minis for prototype minis during the play testing. Working with pros got me reinvigorated. I will get more punchlist work done on my lead game, Tank Shock. I have been using LVMenes and Junior General.org paper minis for prototypes. I make my own 2.5D terrain and Action Cards. The Action Cards use WWII propaganda posters for art. My goal is to get a minis/model company to publish Tank Shock. It is a real good fit for 6mm/1/285 scale. I'm started doing self study of Finnish but I keep getting distracted by Finnish music videos:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FS7kXfTYvvo&list=RDA9XI1-ltitQ&index=2 I take my dogs to the beach for an hourly walk almost every day and go to the gym (one of my clients) to practice Bartitsu and lift throughout the week. My cleaning business is also a sponsor of the semi-pro fight team based out of the gym. Edit: I want to thank all the CWF folks who have been so helpful to me, especially old squirmydad for play testing with me, rules review, art critiques and more and Aaron Hopkins for making a logo for Arctic Dragon Games.

I am not sure if I ever came right out and said this before, but I think using WWII propaganda posters for wargame art is fricken' awesome. I just wanted to say that.

I'd like to post more, but my hobby time is limited these days. Our son was born last year, and we are having another baby next March. I really enjoy being a dad but it keeps me pretty busy! I'm also doing a masters program in IT project management and studying Japanese while working full time. I often check the forum and social media on the subway to work though. If you use Facebook, feel free to add me: www.facebook.com/ryanbraveadventuresRyan

I'm trying to get a new job at my local Family Video.
My 5yo just started Kindergarten and has only been in school a week, and is already a prime candidate for Adderol.

Don't worry... two months into kindergarten, my oldest tried to kill another student. Adderol ain't got nothing on that kind of special treatment :-)

We're in the process of selling our house and buying a new one about eight blocks away on the opposite side of town. (Very small town, lol)
All my papercraft stuff is packed away in a storage unit and it makes me incredibly despondent. Hopefully after we get moved in and settled I'll be able to restart the two campaigns I DM, as the hecticness of moving made me put them both on hold.

I also hate printing off a whole bunch of Disney Princesses for my son's girlfriend's girl, who now has no interest in princesses. 'They are stupid'
On a lighter note -- she is now into Star Wars! Printed off a medium difficulty Yoda and the Willie Nelson version of Yoda from custompapertoys
