Another Chris model. I make 1/60 scale version. I put a pilot from Serenity Team in 30mm base. I have a question what is that yellow black thing in a bottom rear side. Some kind of brake gear?

That's the one I was think of with wheels. I knew one of them did. I really don't know what it is ... other than a splash of color
Helpful hint. Don't store this on an angled surface, otherwise the landing gear will slouch at an angle

Lack of space make it advise easy to uphold. My Croatale are in 'rocket' position too. Weels are more comlicated than flat gear for sure.

By the shape of the hook mounting on the shuttlecraft, it looks more like it is for mounting the hook that will pull it forwards to get starting speed (like the "catapults" in some modern aircraft carriers), than the mounting for pushing it back when touching down .
If it can fly off in "rocket" position (like the space shuttle), it could be used for an attachment to the rail that will provide stability while it is touching the fly-off ramp.
In truth, it is a red haring to keep our attention away from Chris' plans for world domination.

That how I think too. I see some modern aircarft brakeing on carriers with a hooks like that.

Yup, it's a launch hook for a rail catapult rather than a recovery hook.

Yup, it's a launch hook for a rail catapult rather than a recovery hook. The table clock singed his merry tune as the Papercraft Warrior looked at his screen, the Mastermind's words in plain view. Yet they can not see.Deflection by deflection, word by word, he managed to deceive them all. All, but the PW. Time is running out.PW took another sip of sinthcoffee, the bile taste made him frown as he looked down at the cup. He sighed. Same slush as yesterday.Something in the last few days made him uneasy, it stole him the sleep and the piece of mind. What does he plan whilst they kiss his feet?Yup, it's a launch hook for a rail catapult rather than a recovery hook. He bent his head closer to the screen, the light of pixels irritating his eyes. Why be so open about it Chris? Massaging his eyes the question burned his mind. Why acknowledge anything? One more look at the words on the screen, one more blink. He spat out the coffee over the message. I was as blind as the rest of them. Stomach acid burned his throat as he looked at the ticking clock aside his desk. How much time does the world have left?Yup, it's a launch hook for a rail catapult rather than a recovery hook. The footsteps echoed as he run out of the apartment, his heart pounding as if chased by a pack of ravenous wolves. What better place to hide, than in plain sight.

Oh, don't worry. I'm quite laid-back and benign as far as goatee-stroking despots go. I'm mostly pursuing world domination for a legitimate excuse to wear a cool uniform with all those shiny medals and whatnot on it. And maybe a tasteful hat, but that might be excessive. I'm not sure yet.

Do not forget the high ranking government spot for your kitty.
Wait a minute... what if Chris is actually a manikin, and the kitty is the one pulling the strings?

My cat goes out, but he checks back often. He was a rescue cat, so he was very comfortabe outdoors and was becoming increasing difficult to keep inside. I took him for walks on a leash for a while to make sure he knew the area, and then let him out on his own.
Yesterday, he walked with me all the way to the mailboxes and back again. First time I have ever seen a cat take a walk with a person.

It could have been a dog in a past life. That makes sense. My wife refers to him as "the dog" most of the time.

I'm not sure yet. As long as the hat says "Making Papercraft Great Again" on the front, it'll be the classiest hat you've ever seen! Big league! Believe me!
