I found this quick building little model last night trying to find some pictures showing how to use the flat axles found with the Sweet Robo model. Sweet RoboHis name is Bachsy and you can find him here: Bachsy ModelHis major joints are articulated and poseable. Since building this model, I finally understand how the flat axles work and I think I may try to incorporate them into the Platform Command: Battlegrounds and Platform Command: Red Sector Models. I'm also thinking of modding Christopher Roe's Jotun model with articulated joints to see how that works. If that goes okay, I may try modding a more difficult build to add the joint articulation. Enjoy!!

Josh's flat axles are wonderful. I've used them on Chickenhawks, robo's, wagons and of course the Sweet Robo. I like them a lot
When incorporating them to an existing design, I find it easier to have the parts gluing to the axle, instead of having the axle on the part and gluing it to the body. It works both ways, but I find that this method works best for me

I put it into the model, but put the cut-out on the body, and glue the part to the axle, instead of having the cut-out on the part and gluing the axle to the body

I think I see what you are saying with that. I'm going to have to try that sometime. Thanks for the tip VK!
