Product: Save The Day: Heroes and Villains Set One by Okumarts
Cutfiles: STDC_001_cutfiles.zip (320.35 KB)
NOTE: The layout of STDC_001.pdf doesn't look like it fits in the safe cutting area. I made the cutfiles to follow the outlines of the minis as they appear in the PDF. To be safe, you might want to do what I did and reformat the page a bit. To do this, I:
1) Use a PDF printer such as CutePDF to set the layers the way I want and then print to a new file (STDC_001_new.pdf). Turn off text layers and registration mark layers.
2) Open the PDF using GIMP. Be sure to set the resolution to 300 pixels per inch when opening the PDF!
3) Export the resulting page as a PNG file (STDC_001.png)
4) Open STDC_001.studio3 in Silhouette Studio
5) File > Merge the exported PNG file (STDC_001.png) into the cutfile. Right-click on the image and select Send to Back.
6) Adjust the left/right margins a little outward so all the cutlines fit.
7) Print from Silhouette Studio, then cut.
You will need to download a copy of that product to use these correctly. The artwork is not included to protect the rights of the copyright holders.
NOTE: When possible, turn off all extraneous layers, like text layers! You need to make sure that there no graphics interfere with the registration marks. If you forget, you can probably get away with creating white shapes in the Studio software that cover up the offending graphics. I've learned you can even use the eraser tool in the Studio software, too!
The product contains the required registration marks to work with the cutter. All you need to do is make sure to select the correct layers before printing. Moreover, make sure you've selected the correct style of registration marks from within the Silhouette Studio software.
These cutfiles were created with Silhouette Studio version 3.6.57ss by mproteau (Paper Realms) @ the Cardboard Warriors forums: cardboard-warriors.proboards.com
