First up is the Piazza San Marco a Venezia Yes, I made it to fold flat. When the girls get back from their trip, I'll glue a head and shoulders shot of them at the front, to give them a 3d memento Next up is Piazza San Pietro a Roma. A bit more intricate getting things set up for the tabs to go underneath

In a game I ran this was the scene of an epic battle between the Venician secret service and an army of airshipborn ninja who were going to assasinate the Doge by setting fire to the tower using parabolic mirrors. He was saved.

If you were actually standing here, Giacomo de Casanova's house is to your left and slightly behind you. I doubt the ladies are planning to stop there

Love the forced perspective in that first model. Last year, I helped my daughter do a papercraft model of the Eiffel tower, and we did forced perspective on the mall in front of the tower, with the near trees and paths exaggerated to make it look more "real" if you got right down close to the display.
That's going to be a great souvenir for your ladies. (Girls? Womenfolk? They all sound sexist...how about "female loved ones?")

Understatement time -- Glenda and Kathy were underwhelmed with St. Marks and St. Peters. I think it's time to do something for me again, or something I wanted to do for someone else. Hitchhiker's Book for my IT guy, Samurai helmet for Mike before he moves, or that 1908 London Motor-cab. The Doctor Who Fobwatch by Hellsword for me.
Not sure
