Congrats to everyone! Lots of great work here! And no matter how Best in Show turns out, let me draw attention to the fact that soaringraven took 1st or 2nd prizes in four out of six categories! AMAZING!

Congrats to all entrants! Great work. let me draw attention to the fact that soaringraven took 1st or 2nd prizes in four out of six categories! AMAZING! In fact, Soaringraven is the most prized participant in the story of the Papercut Awards (stats at hand). Hard to beat! But you scored two prizes, nice result as well!

Hey! someone found the 'I Voted' sticker useful. Soaringraven has some pretty sweet stuff. We all need to visit and sit in on a game sometime You've only seen a tiny fraction of the stuff we've built and designed over the years - but you can be sure that we'll show off and share some more in the future. If you ever find yourself in the Munich area (the one in Bavaria with the world's biggest bender in the autumn) you're very welcome to visit. Thanks a lot to all the congratulations and compliments - they mean a lot! Also, congratulations to all the other particpants in this year's Papercuts. It's an honour and a pleasure to be a part of such a welcoming community.

ein großes bier bitte
I remember München as such a pleasant time. I was there when Charles and Diana were getting married. Spent the afternoon at the hofbrauhaus, then caught the train to Strasburg.
It would be nice to get back

I was eight ... but at least the Hofbräuhaus is still doing a rather stiff business.

I took a loot back at previous years to see how many voted for Best in Show and was surprised to see that the highest was 179 votes back in 2014. At present, we have only 28 votes for this year. At first, I was worried that this indicates our hobby is in massive decline. Then I looked again and noticed that folks were voting for up to 5 submissions and there were only 45 unique voters back then. So, maybe we're a little smaller now, but not by much, really.

So did Vermin King, since you bring it up . I was pleasantly surprised by the overall outcome, and proud and humbled to be counted in such good company.

Also many people don't bother to vote. In the past 24hrs (I know, too late to vote, but I assume it is a typical number) there were 46 members online and nearly 400 "guests." People who participate in the board in any way seem to be a very small percentage of people that have some interest, assuming most of the "guests" didn't get here by mistake.

soaringraven: Nice Surprise! We have some things in common: we both are european ( I live in Northern Italy, "only" 300 km from Munich); we are equal in age; we both like papercrafting (different skill levels, but I'm working on it). Of course, we both are male, married and so on... I have no plan to taje a tripo to Germany, but it willl be nice to meet, somewhere in the future!
