I think my concept is good, but like I said, the angle of the attachment panel is off slightly, and by changing the tabs, it should be an easier build. I'll play with it tonight I do like the look. Just need to fix the files I like the thread links detail in the second image. The wear, tear and scraped paint at the edges gives them a realistic look.

I just saw a pattern I liked and repeated it over and over
As you probably know by now, I don't use 3d model software, so I am stuck counting pixels, using geometry, and wielding a sledgehammer. Been a long week, so I am not going to get to this until tomorrow ... if my brain is clear. In the meantime, back to the sekibune

Finished the latest modification of the tracks. Printing as I type. Wish me luck

Angle could have been better, and tab layout could be improved. It now is going to be a tube with ends that close. Makes much more sense from the builder's point of view

Nicely done, a much lower to the ground approach than what I was thinking.

Vermin King I am currently tweaking the angles on the track file you posted. Is it allright if I post it when I finish?

Of course it is! I think we have Eric's permission to use the Air Raft as a group project. And I have made it a point to mention many times, that everything I post is up for upgrades.
I use trial and error and brute force to come up with things, but I always welcome someone to take my ideas and run with them

Finished the angle fix. There was a small discrepancy between frontal and the rear angle, nothing significant. The angle should be within 1-2 degrees of the proper one now, bigger or smaller depending on the thickness of the paper, the glue used, and the unavoidable paper wrapping. I did small tweaks to the texture at few places. Nothing significant, you did the base well. If you are in a hurry, print is as it is. Otherwise, I will post the printer friendly version in a few hours.

Here it is. Anyone who wishes to save up on ink, print this file. For additional saving, do not print at all! Attachments:

Even though my initial geometry came from a tank, I should be okay with the way the drive and road wheels are set up. Side skirts seem to usually have a shorter front fender than the rear fender, so I think it is fine, but the front track angle seems a bit steep. I might come back and change that.
Thanks for fixing that angle and doing the line-art file. On my third attempt, I called it 'good enough'. Thank you for not being satisfied with 'good enough'.
I can design things, but my strongest area is grabbing ideas and getting a rough plan that can be hammered into a model. My next best area is modifying. One of these days I'm going to have to learn a 3d design program

I think I have a winner in the 'what can be kitbashed into a hover ambulance' category!
I trust that you don't mind me doing some 'artistic license' with the little beast.
