I want to build this for the release of some Spot of Bother spies later on. Did you rescale it? Kind of a nightmare. I have no idea what scale now. I did my normal 12% enlargement, and added the tire treads, and Sir Thomas Sean Connery to lean against the car. I had him scaled to 1 inch to the chin. He looked like a leprechaun compared to the body. So, I decreased the car so that his hand would be able to be placed on the hood. I played with this so many times, I have no idea how much it was reduced from the original.

Had a webinar today, and got a little done. Put the undercarriage into the body and glued it in. The body wants to slide forward, and the front end wanted to bow outward, so I also glued the front of the undercarriage to the front of the body. And it feels good that Sir Thomas fits size-wise. I hope to finish over lunch, so I did the fold-over gluing on the bumper details, so that can be drying, but I left them attached to the remaining parts so I don't lose them

... I have no idea how much it was reduced from the original. Just physically measure a tire in mm, or some other easily measured piece of the model, and compare it to the original.

Great car and great build. I will have to look that one up. I wonder if I could reduce it to 1:100 and still be able to assemble it and keep my sanity.

1/100 would require less than 110# cardstock. Those bumper guards would be tough at that scale

I use 65# for my 1:100 models. It is a bit stiff, but easier to handle than 20 weight (way too flexible for me).

Put the bumpers on today. I'm going to have to find a different base to put it on for photos. Too much gray and white. Hard to focus

Build looks great! I am going to have to use that car in my other diorama. Thanks for the show.
