Rather than painting miniatures or indulging in some papercraft fun, I organized the hobby closet today. I managed to shuttle project components into like boxes, so a given idea is all together instead of scattered across multiple locations. I also decided that about a third of the stuff won't be touched for at least six months, and so it is going down to the garage.
Kind of related, one of my gaming buddies I haven't played with in a few years invited me to try Scrappers (from Osprey) with him and his brother. So I have paused my current painting a paper projects to finish up some stuff for that (mostly using my existing Chaos cultists, need to model and paint two miniatures, and convert two Matchbox dump trucks.)
So the new queue looks like this: 1) Scrappers (4 models) 2) Fantasy miniatures for my wife (2 models) 3) Irish for Dark Ages and fantasy (8 models) 4) Warhammer 40,000 Death Guard (~25 models) 5-6) Irish for the English Civil War and Japanese for WWII. Not sure of the order yet. (Complete armies, ~60 models each.) Later) 1600s Japanese, American War of Independence Hessians and Indians, and who knows what else will tickle my fancy?

I have some Irish Dark Ages minis I was working on as a follow-up release after the Vikings, but I never got around to finishing the set.

I have happened upon the minis a few minutes ago... they are excellent. Unusual combination of realistic with cartoonish, both in lineart and in coloring. They evoke a feeling of calm in me, awaking memories of Robin Hood* cartoons and ages past. * I know, he is in England and Ireland is an island to the west of it.

Or are they anywhere on your todo list? I'd love to have them, and I'm sure most of the rest of your audience would too. They would be super useful as NPCs or as very-low-level (pre-platemail) PCs.
