Working on a few packs right now. I'll start threads for those previews as well. I'm trying to scramble, and release a lil' variety pack of fundead undeads before Halloween. Here's a look at the mummy rabble and mummy lord. *boop*

Looking good!! Loving the Mummy Lord/Lady! Just as a matter of interest - is that you re-doing your bases to be "slip-on" like those of bravesirkevin??

I still publish the glue-on disk bases, but the disc tabs are modified easily to slide into Kev bases. I use his slip style bases for my personal figures.

Kev-style bases are easy to make and work very well

I still publish the glue-on disk bases, but the disc tabs are modified easily to slide into Kev bases. I use his slip style bases for my personal figures. printableheroes and Stuartdraws both use this same disk base design. I use the Litko acrylic slotted bases, with the 4mmx20mm tabs at the feet, which is the default configuration for OkumArts and One Monk/Mayhem in Paper, among others. Even so, I've never had any trouble adapting chiefasaur's minis, or bravesirkevin's, or any others, to fit in the Litko bases. (BTW, I prefer the Litko bases for two reasons: first, minis assembled to use with them store absolutely flat; and second, the clear acrylic bases never clash with the terrain or otherwise draw attention to themselves--they basically disappear on the table.)

This isn't really a "talkin' 'bout bases" thread. Everybody has their own preference & there's no wrong answer. My groups use my colorerd-ring patterned bases to tell identical figures apart (also, I provide the minis, so they have no choice! BWAHAHAH!)

The point I was trying to make is that it's pretty easy to adapt minis to one's preferred basing style, so that should never be a factor when considering the purchase of a set of minis. In other words, everyone should buy all the minis they can!

I tried my hand at building a tiny Joust cabinet for my Acererak model. Turned out to be a real fiddly, messy ordeal. If anything, it only made me respect you model-builder types even more.
