Toposolitario has a free industrial mat here: www.toposolitario.com/workshop/tableros.htmlI'm sure most of you have seen it. I have a question for you. The instructions say cut the tiles so tabs are left over. Does that mean you then glue each tile to another couple? It seems like it'd be uneven that way, topographically?

That's not how I did it. Leaving the top and left edges as tabs, let's you see the numbers as you glue the sheets together. I'd cut out the tile and glue to foamcore, Then I'd glue the tile number on the bottom of the foam core.
Or you could play around and make interlocking tabs on the edges, if you don't want to use foam core.
You could glue it as he suggests to form a mat that can be rolled up, but I don't think I would want to store a mat.

My plan was to do it like you said, with foam core.

I think it would be advisable to keep the numbers on the bottoms. I didn't, and it makes it a little awkward figuring out the layout
