The Wolverine MBT looked lonely so I'm working on a Mobile Command Post that uses the same footprint and similar textures to the Wolverine. First white build was mostly successful and showed me which flaps were in the wrong places and what didn't quite fit. It's amazing how much work a 2.4mm discrepancy can create.

I thought you were talking about building walls in the shoutbox.
Looks nice.
Will it have a ramp at the back?

It needs some sloping on the sides. As it is it's too much stylistic distinct from the Wolverine. Wolverine looks High Tech and this one looks Steampunkish.

I was going for a blocky look as I envisioned this as a Mobile Command Post, and not an AFV/IFV. I have an IFV on the drawing board that is much more angular and has a lower profile than the MCP.

Did this project die a quiet death? No, it got "shinied", as in, "ooh shiny!" as one thought led to another project...the Mastodon needed light guns as an AP option and I converted most of the Terra Force heavy weapons over to be swappable mounts, which led to me finishing the Bloodhound patrol vehicle which can use the weapon mounts, which then led to me making the Terra Force Gundogs since they can also use the swappable weapons, but they need a few unique things (arms and weapons) to complete the kit, and the Bloodhounds could use extended cab and open-bed versions, and then the Mastodon could also be a heavy artillery mount...most of this is built and textured but I haven't made any instructions and the Mastodon still needs it's artillery piece and I'm currently cleaning up the preview pics for the Hordes from 2014 and earlier. Shiny. It's on my mind, I sometimes winder if I'm using maintenance as an excuse to not finish projects? But if I don't do the maintenance then it really bugs me. That's where it's at.

I was just curious. I can thoroughly relate to 'oh, shiny'. At this point I have one, count 'em, ONE Road Warrior vehicle. Was side-tracked with off-road racers, the Chenowth, terrain, etc. And I always think in terms of sets. You did the Type 82's that could be Terra Forced. If I actually finished the MegaForce FAV and cycle, they could receive a Terra Force treatment. And if I could come up with a GI Joe VAMP look-alike...

That's a good looking little truck, and with a blueprint like that it makes it much easier to mock up a model in 3d.

Speaking of 'shiny', while I was looking up 'Jungle plants', I found these www.cubicfun.com/index.php?m=Products&a=pro&cid=34&fid=32Yeah, I could magnify the screen and do PrintScreen, but it's late. Look at how they did the Africa and Dino sets. I always like to see different ways of doing things

Sometimes, but rarely for me. There have been a couple projects where I tried with a newly discovered method, but I have generally kept my original method. Every method has pluses and minuses. I like to have these other methods in my toolbox, though.
