I've started going through old projects and pushing them towards completion. One, that's almost done, is a Russian Aerial Assault boat (name pending) in 1/600 scale; The other is a 15mm scale gunship that has been laid out and had basic textures thrown at it, and then I've set it aside until the end of the month when I've gotten some of my other projects completed. papermakeit.com/index.php?option=com_docman&task=doc_download&gid=191&Itemid=28

Cool man! You didnt have this ship back when I did those test builds for you. If you need any help let me know. I'd be glad to build some more! One cool thing is that I run a savage worlds game called rippers, but now that they are going to release Space 1889 Savaged edition, I'll be switching to that. These ships will come in handy for that also. Have you gotten to play Sky Galleons lately?;D
Edit: I downloaded it and will have a go tonight!

I'm enjoying making the larger scale models as it means I have to work harder at detailing and texturing. I'm waiting for Ganesha Games to release 'Flying Lead' so I can start figuring out a VSF add-on for it. Cool. Like I said, it's in the queue to be textured and detailed but that's most likely going to be at the end of the month. Build note; The decking is most likely too large and will have to be trimmed to fit. If you are on the SGOM group check out the 15mm scale Small Bird model I posted there. There are build photos in the gallery there that illustrate the SB's construction and this new Cicada-phid utilizes much the same build techniques. LMK if you run into any problems.

Thats cool. I'll check out the small bird. Are you going to scale up the 1/600 models or redesign them from the bottom up? I havent built the 15mm yet, I'll guve them a try. One thing is that they shouldn't be as fiddly and tweezer intensive. ;D

These new ones are designed for 15mm scale from the get-go and are pretty easy, pretty builds, imho.

Hi all, I've just reposted the Workbench section of my site which has a number of airship papermodels that I never completed. They've all been test-built though and the builds check out fine, they're just lacking in terms of texture and details. If there are graphically minded people who'd like to complete the texture work and could snap a photo of the finished model, then I'd be happy to host the finished piece and I'd be able to move the models from the Workbench to the finished Downloads area for all to enjoy. Thanks, Eric
