I love my wife. Now she is sick. Since I was sick first, I most likely created this condition. She is miserable. I feel very bad about this And I am just sick enough to whine about all this to y'all.

A cup of tea. A cup of cookies. A warm blanket. A warm word. She will survive.

I can totally relate. Ralphing with some frequency since this morning. Headache achiness and a general feeling of unwellness. Maybe we will all be better by morning

To my knowledge, this type of virus can't be contracted over the net

Take care everyone. Plenty of fluids and if you live alone make sure there is someone checking on you regularly. I lost a healthy young cousin once because she was living alone while she went to college, got a fever and go too delirious to know she was dehydrating. I don't mean to scare you, I'm just saying: "Treat the flue seriously."

I have two cats. I'm guessing that doesn't count
BTW ... I'm pretty much back to normal. Normal for me, that is

We have been spared the flu as of the time of writing this, so most likely we will catch any moment now. But I have to say, as much as I hate being sick and unproductive, it is even worse when my wife gets sick. Here's to hoping that everyone gets/stays well! That includes cats!

My wife caught a cold a couple of weeks ago, and she's barely getting over it. I caught it this past week. Unlike her, I went to the doctor (he gave me Claritin-D as well as some sorta cough suppressant I'd never heard of so I'm actually able to somewhat function).

I'm still sick after 10 days of pills. My wife is still sick.
But my kid is better, which is most important.

After a few days, I got over my bug, but then I had a relapse that lasted less than 24 hours. I consider myself fortunate
