Yo, I've just been to the World Works Games site, seems they are back in operation. I was able to access my old collection, I'm gonna see if I can buy anything.

Looks like they're having a sale on some of the sets, 25% on the ones in Yellow.

Site has been functional for a while, with occasional hiccups. Their sale is a great deal - the sets are packed with good stuff that in my opinion makes them a big value. Back up your downloads though... you never know if the site will go dark again!

I found some of the half made kits I started 5 years ago - I really was keen but niave back then. At least I can print them out again and try it all again with some of the tips I have picked up.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask here. Iām pretty good at building. There are plenty that are even better. I always learn from the folks here!

Not only can you find many tips here, there are many treasures to be found in the Forums, the Hoards and the Downloads. We have been very fortunate to have many excellent designers and builders grace these pages.

Thanks.
As a novice most of my initial issues were simply due to assembly methods and storage. I have been making some simple card buildings recently for wargames terrain so I used these not only as practice runs but to also "get my eye in".

What era or genre do you play?

Pretty much everything to be honest. Though my terrain building is all for solo wargames at home in 1/72 fantasy settings as given then plethora of new kits by caeser \ Redbox the world is my oyster.

I have to admit to being the Pollyanna cheerleader for Denny & Company during the "dark times" when the site was having problems over the last couple of years. Ironically, I have * STILL * been unable to get help with recovering my password for my main account. (I created a 2nd to pick up a few of the other sets I was wanting in order to finish out some series, such as the Swift Scenics and the Wormhole Game.) I was able to get an auto reset for my secondary after I had to reload my Windows operating system... but still nothing working for my main account - which is inked to a Hotmail address which I know seemed to be giving some web spots problems due to hacking. But still, though I've tried various avenues to get someone's attention, there has still been no response (and the auto reset is not working for me).

I have to admit to being the Pollyanna cheerleader for Denny & Company during the "dark times" when the site was having problems over the last couple of years. You are a much more tolerant person than I. And honestly, you're amazing. Even when they were fully operational, I found the company staff and moderators way too heavy handed, and never felt that they would acknowledge suggestions, complaints, or even how long their site outages were. I always felt that the company staff there weren't a part of their builders/modder's community at all. It was years of persuading to even get them to start allowing us to post free fan-made cutfiles for their models - a step that could only bring them more customers. One of the many factors that killed their business was being hostile to their community. Has anyone archived the best stuff from that board? Such as the fan-made cutfiles for The Maiden?
