After the incredible success of my papercraft ZIS-5 truck, Vermin King and I moved on to a Isuzu Type 94 for some Manchuria 1945 scenery. The design had a few flaws that were easy to fix with scissors, and have been fixed on the pattern. But, somehow I was totally off my game and this turned into one of the worst papercraft builds I have ever finished. It looks ok in the picture, but in real life, well...

I like it, but why did you make that black line with marker, above the front tire ?

I like it, but why did you make that black line with marker, above the front tire ? Probably the pieces did not stay flush with each other, so he darkened them to hide the white paper line.

I like it, but why did you make that black line with marker, above the front tire ? I was not in a good frame of mind when I started; as a result, I scored many folds in the wrong places, got frustrated with my glue stick and switched to Krazy glue, got mad and said "screw it," and finally wound up attacking half finished pieces with scissors to force the fits. So a lot of black marker work was required to hide joins, tears, and peels. I did the best I could to salvage it the following day lol! Tomorrow or Satyrday I am going to build the version with the busted wheel.

OK, so I built the second one, this is the one missing the left front tire as a bit of "abondoned truck" scenery. This build went MUCH better than the last one. In fact, after six trucks of this basic pattern, I have finally gotten one to go very right! Many thanks to Vermin King for all of his help with both this and the ZIS-5

Might I ask about the scale of this model?
As in 1:x ?

Should be around 1/56

The length is exactly 1/56. However, this is not a scale model and other dimensions and proportions may vary.

Thank you.
Any idea about the suitability of cheap ~80gsm paper + laser printing? Is it doable with this model?
I am tempted to try, but I have my doubts.

well, you could do it on 80 gsm and glue it to another sheet of 80 gsm and be good
