Hello everybody! Last week I was organizing papers and I found some paper figures I make time ago. I have not seen them in a while, so I take them in my hands to look them better when they said “oh Pablo, you forgot us. We are not enough good for you?” I felt sad... poor paper figures . They are like “not finished projects”: some soldiers of an army, of a dungeon or a gang, but I like them. Some of them are not finished, have stroke but not color or have no backart. My idea is to organise and finish them, and done this, I will upload them in my web. I did these in the image to play Necromunda (I have to say that definitelly I never could play it...). Only four of them have backart so, I am going to finish the other two. Hope you like! Grettings!

Sorry for leaving so much space between paragraphs, it was a failure Worry not, okoto. If, for some reason, we are having difficulty understanding what you are saying, we'll ask for clarification. As for the paragraphing, you are doing better than many people I know. . We're glad you're here and sharing your talents and inspirations with us.

Successful figures which have their character.. Do you have more? No, with this style I only have the six figures in the photo. When I started them a year ago my idea was to make more, but definitely I only did these. And now that I have recovered them I only have done the backart of two (the other 4 already had backart), and with this I end this "small gang project". In a future I would like to make more figures with this style. But first I want to finish other projects I have in my mind

Now I would like to show you the next figures I am recovering. They are some beastmen (I love beastmen, they are so cute I made three years ago. I used them to play some wargames battles. Not are my favourity figures but I have appreciation. Really they are finished, I only want to paint their bases a little and organise them to upload in the web. They have not backart.

I can know how you do your figurines and what do you use? Yes First I draw them in paper with a pencil, I use to made the figures two or three times bigger than they will be at the end. I use to made figures 30 mm tall so I draw them 60 or 90 mm tall. After that I ink them, normally in other paper or on the backside of the same paper. To ink I use the pens in the photo, depending on the draw I use one or another. I use the light table in the photo, I made myself. If I have not the table I use a window or a table with a glass and my mobile phone under it with the lantern on . Then I scan the drawings and paint the color with a digital program. And to finish I reduce the draws to prepare them to print.

A lightbox! Maybe I should get me one of these. The digital drawing tablets are not working for me.

A lightbox! Maybe I should get me one of these. The digital drawing tablets are not working for me. I find it very useful. Mine is big enough for a DIN A3 (the paper in the photo is a DIN A4) and with the lights, glass and tables (I used too some carpenter´s glue -really I don´t know what it its name in English- and some little nails) I spend between 40 and 50 €.

Hi! The gangs and the beast men are already avaiable in my web pablogalvanilustracion.com/en/viejas-miniaturas/Now I would like to show you the next figures I want to recover. They are 9 goblins. I started doing them because I wanted to make a Hero Quest redesign in paper. Finally I only made these goblins and not even finish them. I want to paint all of them. They have no backart and no bases, the idea was to use that kind of plastic base with a cleavage to put the figures. Hope you like, grettings!

I finished the goblins and they are avaiable in my web. When I finish recovering these "microprojects" I will post here some photos of the figures printed and cut. These in the photo are the next figures I am recovering. They are the first paper figures I did, probably 4 years ago. It is a battalion of twenty spearmen that includes a musician, a commander and a standard bearer. They are all different and have backart and bases. Their bases are probably a bit strange, because some of theme are more wide in the backart than in the frontart, or vice versa (don´t know very well how to explain it, you can see in the photo). I didn´t remenber that I have done it like this until I oppened the file yesterday. I made them thinking in use them to play warhammer, where the figures of the same battalion goes attached to each other, so with this base design my idea was that the figures of one line don´t hit with the figures of other line. Hope to have explained it well.... Hope you like them. Grettings!
