Saw this come across my twitter feed. gumroad.com/l/WZPyJI'd personally re-do the layout to make it easier to assemble: 1) put a box around each pair of elements with a center scoreline 2) put a black border around each element 3) put a notch in the center of each pair, so they can be slotted together rather than permanently assembled

I know that most kits have a standard two piece slotted together approach, but I really kind of like the triangular style where you have 3 faces that glue, you get to see the image better, though you are stuck with either mashing it to store it, or it takes up lots of space in a box. Nice sets for the stumps.

On some trees I did once this way, I turned them into accordion trees (https://www.bing.com/images/search?q=accordion+paper+decorations&FORM=HDRSC2), like Christmas decorations. I made a clip out of a staple. The trees were Mauther's I think. Six sections. So, I glued them together except for the last part, and clipped those sides together. Unclip for storage.
I wonder what I did with them...

I also prefer the triangular trees, but for this style, I would mount them on two slotted pieces of black foam core, like I did the giant crystals for my Frostgrave terrain. They are less prone to being bumped around that way, and very sturdy.

Man, that reminds me that I should start to tackle my tree prototypes and turn them into a full product!
These look really nice!

I remember trying other wire to fasten the loose sides/ends, but the wire in staples is stiff enough to hold, but fairly easy to work with
Frankly I had about given up and was going to staple one together, thinking it would be easy enough to extract the staple later, when I realized the staple wire would work as a clip
