Inspired by Tommygun's Moonbuggy, I decided I'd like to play with it. Here's Tgun's I wanted it more Lunar Rover-like, so I started sampling Rover images. Dash controls, equipment rack, seats, tires, etc. Gave up on the antenna since I'm running tighter than normal on time. So, repainted Sirrob01's Dune Buggy. Added fenders from the Zio Prudenziati roadster. And got it printed and scored.

I actually showed that with the moonscape image in the Hoard. I just don't want to steal any of Dave's work for this. He's a bit touchy about that...

And, I didn't allow enough for clearance on the roll bars, and my fenders are too large, so will have to adjust. Also want to work on the tires a bit. Have an 8-hour webinar today, so hopefully will be able to find a little time

8-hour web-based class is over, but didn't get to work on this as much as I thought. Seven hours of classes yesterday and eight today. I'm getting a nap before I do anything else

On the roll bar. Passenger's side. I don't know why I am sure, but I am sure.

Makes since on many levels. I think I will put it in the tiny sliver of rear deck between the roll bar and seats. I had remembered that the hood area is easily dented, so I attempted to use a needle to make a hole at the seam just behind the black triangle near the edge of the fender. I still ended up with a slight dent (and no hole). Just in front of the roll bar, that corner should be stout enough to make a hole for the antenna mast. My mast is drying after painting it black, but I plan on finishing this late this afternoon.

I had to move it forward. The roll bar actually leans forward too far to let me put it where I wanted. I had made a small hole in the fender and a larger hole under the vehicle. My thought was to run the antenna through both holes and cut off the excess underneath. Dry-fitting made it seem like a good plan, but when I put a small drop of glue on both holes, the antenna would no longer go through the lower hole. I just let it dry while I figure how to fix it.
